separating uBO from uMatrix, as gorhill did, and then adding an advanced mode to uBO, was a mistake in my opinion that has led to a lot of confusion and overlapping functionality - and now some of us need to run both instead of just one

that said, i think uBO is the best static/ad blocker out there ... by far ... but its dynamic capability is useless for me personally

I have been using Ublock for years but since just a week ago it started blocking me from opening new tabs from a website on which ublock was enabled. It's quite very annoying to lose the ability to open new tabs so I must say goodbye to you Ublock, it was a nice ride.

While you can combine this with Adblock Plus for better ad blocking, it is an understatement to say that this is annoying:

Sometimes when you hide an element, the hidden element appears, especially on the first page you load after starting Firefox. It even happens if you have both uBlock and ABP installed with the filter on both of their lists.

This is why I gave it four stars. I would have given it five if this weren't an issue.

This happens on Google Chrome as well.
