This is one of the essential add-ons to differentiate firefox for android from other browsers.
I doubt AMO's sense for not enabling it.

This extension with ublock origin makes Firefox the only viable web browser on Android (if you use Firefox 69and older... They broke the extensions in the new version, which makes the new versions of Firefox irrelevant as far as I am concerned,so I keep the old one).

Please enable background play for android

It is now working for me on nightly on android. Most useful app along with an add blocker thank you for your service.

Marche parfaitement bien sur firefox 68. Par contre sur firefox nightly, le chargement de video se bloque environ 1 minute après avoir mis l'onglet en arrière plan.
Je réinstalle firefox 68 uniquement pour votre plugin!

One of the best/usefull addons. Sadly Mozilla team killed with this forced and unwanted Firefix update to 80* (less than beta quality product) :(
