    Firefox pushed an update that busted his script -- he fixed it within an hour of my bug report.

    Super useful extension -- highly recommend!

    As a programmer this is essential. I really don't know why Open AI makes it so that code blocks are forced to be so skinny

    Simply put, I installed it and it worked great! Widescreen works great, full screen works great.

    Only notes:
    * I understand the issues you mentioned in another review, but it'd be really nice to get a slider to adjust the width - however, resizing the window works just fine for me for now.
    * The notifications in the corner are a bit much - it'd be nicer if they showed up near the bottom of the screen, as most of the notifications do from ChatGPT itself. However, this is a stylistic choice, and I'm glad they're easily visible regardless.
    * This is intermittent, but the buttons on the bottom seem to occasionally get lost under the Dictate button; reloading fixes this. I haven't been able to reliably reproduce it.

    Nonetheless, it works great, and if these things can be addressed I'll gladly update/bump up the review!

    Sup thanks for using, I added a setting under Notification Settings to anchor them to bottom of screen thanks to you:

    ...then I will work on adding the slider and fixing the button positioning (but don't expect to be completed some time soon because I recall it took many hours to look great before the unfortunate reset)

    EDIT: The button positioning is fixed

    EDIT: I added a Toast Mode which when combined w/ Anchor Notifs, centers/shrinks them to bottom like this: https://i.imgur.com/K9xMgEV.png

    Great addon, but needs some polish.
    It would be great to be able to customise the left/right padding rather than the current "all or nothing" switch. I installed this because the default is wasting most of my screen, but with the addon it is now the other extreme.
    Additionally, the new chat button does not keep you in a temporary chat if you clicked it while in one.

    Sup thanks for using, I actually put a lot of work into a beautiful slider that live updated the padding but a GitHub Desktop branch bug destroyed all progress, then OpenAI suddenly made a pointless UI update that broke several of my popular userscripts so I had to spend all day (unpaid) patching to support hundreds of thousands of users or they could similarly ding my rating average of essentially 100% free-to-use tools, that is why I didn't resume work on slider (but I'll edit this reply when implementation is complete)

    Re: New Chat button it just clicks the one on chatgpt.com, if you want to stay in temp chat you could report the bug to OpenAI (IDK if it's intentional but it recurs every now and then, possibly they prefer to log your chats and are testing if anyone complains about the redir) otherwise I have to make it refresh the page. Do you prefer it that way? If so lemme know by opening an issue @ https://github.com/adamlui/chatgpt-widescreen

    wow, the first plugin that actually just works! however there seems to be horizontal bar added once tables are generated; and the table isn't wide

    Only negative is it makes it difficult going to other AI web clients and *not* having this extension :D

    Fantastic work and always patched immediately after updates. Really appreciate you, Adam! Thanks!

    (Nice to have: apply widescreen settings to side by side canvas as well)
