How is this a thing for Firefox when, as far as I can see, Firefox does not have a "Search with Google Lens" option.

both google.com and images.google.com allow you to 'search with google lens' directly on those two sites -- this extension overrides the 'google lens' results provided by those sites and redirects the results back to how it used to be. it isn't meant to modify the behavior of anything in particular to firefox.

for example, without this extension, if you were to go to images.google.com and click the 'search by image' camera, and upload an image, it will show google lens results. however, if you install this extension, and do the same thing, it will show results like how it used to be (and not show google lens results)

    Guys, do not blame this developer for this old image search not working, because Google has limited the amount of request on the google image search. I look at the error log; it says error 413 meaning that google doesn't allow large requests AND effectively killed it. Blame google; not the dev. I will copy this review to other extensions.

    Extension worked great, but has stopped on Firefox only today. I started seeing Lens again, but only on Firefox. Can you please check why this happens? thanks!

    just wanted to submit an up-to-date review, this add-on is working for me as of april 20th 2024 also google if you're reading this knock it off nobody wants your smelly lens app it's bad and it fails on every level to provide the services people actually go to image search for. you did a bad job and you should feel bad. gj add-on guy tho 👍

    Unfortunately, same experience as the reviewer Adramelia. The add-on used to work great – truly a five-star thing! – but now I just keep getting an error page with a blue monster fishing. :(

    It's sad, it used to be my favorite Add-on. Now I have to find something else :(

    I've been happily using this supplement since it was released, but unfortunately in the past few days I've noticed that it doesn't work at all! :(

    I drag any image into the image search engine, I search for a higher resolution version of any image, there are no results.
    Until now there were search results, now there is nothing at all.
    The result is just a fishing monster animation.

    Did Google change something or is the extension not working properly?

    This was a very important tool for me, I always needed it a lot.
    What can be done now?

    I tried it, but unfortunately it doesn't work even after deleting the cookies. :(

    it still works for me, so as usual they must be doing A/B testing causing it to not work on other people's computers. which makes it difficult to try and fix since i cant reproduce it not working on my computer locally to debug the issue. my only suggestion unfortunately would be to just wait it out and hopefully it will just resolve on its own, or try clearing your cookies/cache to force them to give you a different cookie which might fetch the working version.
