Currently my extension requires two permissions:
- Input data to the clipboard
- Access your data for all websites

The first permission is used when you request a password generation. It allows the extension to copy generated password to your PC's clipboard.

The second one is used to display a "Generate password" button below any password field and then insert generated password right into that field.

I understand your concerns, but my extension is completely safe and doesn't collect or process any of your data. Besides, it is an open source (https://github.com/XFox111/PasswordGeneratorExtension), so anyone can check what exactly the extension does and make sure that it doesn't do anything besides its functionality.

UPDATE 12-Nov-23: since the 3.0 version the extension doesn't require any specific permissions as I removed some of the excessive features.
