It's not really the developer issues as far as I can tell not to mention this extenison is one of the best if not the best YouTube extension one can install.
Now with the latest fix, the Cinema Mode problem has been resolved.
This extension is worthy of a min. of 4.7/5 Star overall rating after a few years of use. It's only fair to the developer of this fantastic extension. I almost never give a rating higher than 4 Star unless it really worth the high star rating. I also seldom write reviews. This one certainly deserves the accolade. Hope this carries on into the future.

It shows as being switched on, but the controls don't show, none of the settings I had are operative, and the option to configure it seems to have also vanished. - [Switched due to continued closed source in 2025, but flawless experience otherwise]
Was my main driver for Youtube for at least the last four years and has been flawless in my usage.
Initially I would've given this five stars before, but the software is still closed sourced. Good alternatives now exist with mobile functionality (Android) and extended feature sets while following open source principles.

- It used to be useful, but then it "required" Firefox 121+ for some reason (though manually copying the files to ESR115 works).
Bugs:
• There's a bug in the resolution settings that hides anything above 720p.
• The speed override has a bug where it only works for the first video in a playlist and subsequent videos revert to 1× speed.
