I created a Firefox account after so many years just to mention how amazing this add-on is. I was using another add-on to stop auto-play and to change the default video quality and I thought that was great, but this one is so much better. Has custom themes and really a lot of other useful features.

There is a problem (not sure if it's a bug) where if the filters are on, the videos will no longer play at 60fps. Unfortunately for me, I had them turn on automatically at the start of each video (theres an option for that I had to untick in the settings page). It was very frustrating because initially I thought that it was the browser's fault seeing as my other browser was running vidoes smoothly and this wasn't.

some slightly intrusive stuff but recommended for anyone that uses youtube on a daily basis

Could've used a keyboard shortcut for toggling filter usage. There are some videos, where I keep turning filters on and off (higher brightness in night scenes) and - without any existing shortcut - I have to get out of fullscreen for that every time.
