All subscriptions are different. Need more individual settings (display mode, show only unread, etc) for each. Or save last view mode individual. - Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót shenlebantongying, kahdeksan vuotta sitten
- Z 4 z 5 pógódnośonywót Finn, kahdeksan vuotta sittenOnly thing i i miss is a mobile version off the extention. that would sync via ff sync or something. so it would be easy accessable on moible also. since we arnt always on the desktop.

- Z 3 z 5 pógódnośonywót dr_white, kahdeksan vuotta sittenEverything Mario77 says is 100% accurate. No idea why the developer would want to make RSS more complex than it needs to be.
- Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót Wužywaŕ Firefox 13906282, kahdeksan vuotta sittenIt works well and is very customizable.

I want to have the feeds grouped by source in the popup. In subfolders. And I want to display all feeds in the popup. Just like the regular live bookmarks by Mozilla.
Unfortunately, the author did not integrate such basic functionality. I'd really appreciate a more sophisticated and customizable popup. But as is, the original Firefox live bookmarks + LiveClick is still a hundred times more convenient than this addon.
Answer to author response: No, this can still be very good UI design. Have you tried out Firefox live bookmarks + LiveClick? You could click the bookmark popup and saw everything you needed in one single popup. You didn't have to open a new tab just for the feed overview. It was a dream. Unfortunately, Mozilla set everything on fire and LiveClick was one of the victims. Now we are looking for an alternative. But most other addons don't share the simplicity of LiveClick. They all have overloaded designs and you need to open a separate tab just to see an overview of live bookmarks. That's what I call a bad UI design.
Here is an image how you addon could be designed if you were interested in a very good UI: https://addons.cdn.mozilla.net/user-media/previews/full/54/54655.pngWótegrono wuwijarja
jo se napisał kahdeksan vuotta sittenLiveClick type view is now also available when you click the Feedbro icon and then choose "Open Explorer". It's a very simple view compared to the actual "Open Feed Reader" view but can be useful for quick peeks. - Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót Iblis76, kahdeksan vuotta sittenExactly what I was searching for. Rational and with all the right options. Great job.
- Z 4 z 5 pógódnośonywót Plejaden, kahdeksan vuotta sittenI'm was looking for a replacment of Sage++ and found Feedbro to be the best alternative. A sidebar and a more lightweight looking design would be cool. My problem right know with Feedbro is that new articles are not listed (since update to FF 60.0b5 (64-Bit)!? I don't know). My news feed is zero and I'm sure that there are new articles. The manual refresh isn't working either. I got the pop-up that the scanning for new articles started scanning but nothing is found.

jo se napisał kahdeksan vuotta sittenSounds like your Firefox profile has been corrupted which breaks IndexedDB functionality (which then prevents Feedbro from saving articles). You can fix your profile by opening URL about:support and then press "Refresh Firefox". Warning! This will remove your extensions and their settings so backup them first if you need to. - Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót Wužywaŕ Firefox 13875380, kahdeksan vuotta sitten

- Z 4 z 5 pógódnośonywót Wužywaŕ Firefox 13312508, kahdeksan vuotta sittenQuite happy with Feedbro as replacement for Sage++, however I find it very scary to hear media playing when opening some rss feeds. Can this be blocked somehow or can you add an option to not download article bodies at all? I'm using mode 2 view only showing the headers and I don't read the articles in Feedbro as I open the links with Firefox in new tabs where I've blocked such things using uMatrix dynamic filtering.

jo se napisał kahdeksan vuotta sittenAny chance you could isolate which feed URL has those autoplaying videos/audio clips so we could take a look if it can be blocked somehow. Please send the URLs to feedbro.reader@gmail.com. Thanks! - Z 4 z 5 pógódnośonywót Mariusz, kahdeksan vuotta sitten

- Z 4 z 5 pógódnośonywót Ervit, kahdeksan vuotta sittenI previously posted a 3-star rating, but I am seeing improvements and the developer is responsive, so I'm upgrading my rating up a notch. Sidebar support would get the fifth star from me as this is what I really need. Otherwise this is a very good feed reader.
- Z 4 z 5 pógódnośonywót Dino Conte, kahdeksan vuotta sittenFeedbro has become my perfect feed reader. Clear interface, no advertising. What more could you ask for?
What I miss:
->Synchronization with FirefoxSync, so that I have the same data at home and in the office.
->Which would also be nice: support for Android.
->ReadLater/Bookmarks
"You can "bookmark" articles by starring them."
Yes, I know that. But it would be nice to use Feedbro as Pocket or Instapaper alternative. So, save websites outside of Feedbro in Feedbro: -))Wótegrono wuwijarja
jo se napisał kahdeksan vuotta sittenYou can "bookmark" articles by starring them. Click the star icon on the title row or at the end of the article. Alternatively you can use Pocket (Send To-menu). - Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót Wužywaŕ Firefox 13753803, kahdeksan vuotta sittenInstalled my feeds, looks good.
How do I know if a feed’s been updated?
I’ve set notifications & sounds, but if I miss those, how do I check? - Z 4 z 5 pógódnośonywót ff201307, kahdeksan vuotta sittennice alternativ for Bamboo!
can i automaticly hide a new feed if is marked as read (nice feature from Bamboo) ? - Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót Wužywaŕ Firefox 13550846, kahdeksan vuotta sitten
- Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót Wužywaŕ Firefox 13729572, kahdeksan vuotta sittenI like it. Former Bamboo user, this is a better solution.
***Bug Report! I am unable to Export my subscriptions. I could not find a place to file a bug report, so here it is.
"This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below."
I really want to use this on other systems. I don't want go to the effort of recreating all of my stuff over again.
thanks!

jo se napisał kahdeksan vuotta sittenThank you for the review.
I suppose you are using Linux? Firefox on Linux has a bug that prevents "download a file" functionality from working. As a workaround, Feedbro just opens the feed subscriptions data in a separate tab. You need to right-click the area and select "Save As" to save your subscriptions to the disk.
PS. Our official support email is feedbro.reader@gmail.com - all issue reports and feature requests are welcome there. - Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót Siem, kahdeksan vuotta sitten
- Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót Ailothaen, kahdeksan vuotta sittenGreat extension we have there! That reader is very easy to use, but we have a huge customisation potential if we look into the settings. Especially with the Rules panel.
Just a suggestion : It would be nice if we had the ability to create our own themes (I mean, import and export our own CSS sheets).
Also, I think there should be an option to make the Feedbro icon "uncolorized". Most of the buttons in Firefox are in shades of grey by default, and the icon of the extension adds some visual "noise", making sometimes hard to see the number of updates with a fast glance :/ - Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót Tor K., kahdeksan vuotta sittenThis addon is awesome. Old Bamboo user, I really loved its Popup option, not the default "Tab" one which was the standard and only type for Feedbro. Nonetheless, I made do.
Thanks anyways, best feedreader for FF Quantum :)
