• 🍅 Introducing Tomato Clock (Pomodoro Timer):

We're excited to announce a brand-new addition to Focus Flow Monitor designed to boost your productivity even further: the Tomato Clock!

Many of you know this technique as the Pomodoro Timer – a proven time management method that breaks down work into focused intervals, traditionally 25 minutes in length, separated by short breaks. Our integrated Tomato Clock brings this power directly into your workflow.

What you can do with the new Tomato Clock:

• Stay Focused: Work in timed sessions (defaulting to 25 minutes) to maintain high concentration.
• Take Regular Breaks: Reminds you to take short breaks (5 minutes) and longer breaks (15 minutes) to rest and recharge.
• Classic Pomodoro Flow: Follows the standard cycle: Work -> Short Break -> Work -> Short Break -> Work -> Short Break -> Work -> Long Break.
• Easy Controls: Start, pause, reset the current timer, or switch to the next phase directly from the popup.
• Visual Cues: The current phase and remaining time are clearly displayed in the popup. The extension icon badge also updates dynamically to show the active timer and its current phase color.
• Desktop Notifications: Get notified when a work session or break is complete, so you know when it's time to switch gears. You can easily toggle these notifications on or off from the popup.

How to use it:

1. Click on the Focus Flow Monitor icon in your browser toolbar.
2. You'll find the "Tomato Clock" section right in the popup.
3. Click "Start" to begin your first work session!

We believe this feature will be a great companion to the existing time tracking and site blocking capabilities, helping you manage not just where you spend your time, but how effectively you use it.

Want to keep social media off-limits during work hours or ensure distraction-free weekends? Set up a schedule for any block rule (URL or Category) and let FocusFlow Monitor handle the rest. Find this option when adding or editing a block rule in the Options page.

  We believe that even a block page can be a positive experience. You can now customize the page shown when a site is blocked:
  • Custom Heading & Message: Replace the default text with your own motivational phrases or reminders.
  • Custom Button Text: Change the "Go Back" button to something that resonates more with you.
  • Control Displayed Info: Choose to show or hide details like the specific blocked URL, the matching rule, limit information, or schedule details.
  • Motivational Quotes: Opt to display a random motivational quote (from our curated list or add your own!) to give you a little boost.
  • Head to the "Block Page Customization" section in the Options page to tailor it to your liking!

🛠️ Bug Fixes & Improvements 🛠️

• 📊 Chart Rendering Fix: Resolved an issue where the statistics chart in the Options page wouldn't always update correctly when a specific date was clicked on the calendar. Your daily insights should now be displayed accurately!
• ⚙️ Code Optimizations: Implemented several minor under-the-hood code optimizations for improved stability and maintainability.

Version 0.7.3.0 Release Notes

This update focuses on adding the Focus Score feature, enhancing the statistics view, and adding data management capabilities.

✨ New Features

Focus Score: Introduced a Focus Score, displayed in both the popup and the Options page. This score represents the percentage of Browse time spent on categories you've marked as 'Productive'. Ratings can be configured in Options > Focus Score Settings.
Data Export & Import: Added options to export all tracking data and settings to a backup file, and import from a previously saved file. Find this under Options > Data Management.

🚀 Enhancements

Interactive Calendar: Clicking any date on the calendar in the Options page now updates all statistic displays (Category Time List, Detailed Website List, Focus Score, and Chart) to show data specifically for that selected day. Previously, only the chart updated.
Calendar "No Data" State: When clicking on a calendar date with no recorded activity (e.g., future dates or past days without Browse), the statistics area now clearly displays a "No data recorded..." message instead of empty lists or default scores.
Attribution: Added a small, unobtrusive "Created by..." footer to the popup and options page.

🐛 Bug Fixes

Statistics URL Merging: Fixed an issue where time spent on www.domain.com and domain.com might have been shown as separate entries in statistic lists. They are now correctly aggregated under the base domain (domain.com).
