It doesn't work at all. The words I want to have replaced still show up on websites as usual. When I refreshed the website it replaced the words for a split second, and when the page finished loading the original words popped back...

You have to press enter after filling out the "with" column.
It will then add your replace as a row and you will see a new row below it.
you should then be able to click apply/ok.

I have just used this powerful add-on to fix the problems with my net bank's report pages, making them work exactly as I want them NOW - no need to wait for the bank to update their web app :-)

Good for simple texts. I missed the possibility to save/view replace history and to replace large content in text areas like youtube description videos.

Could not add filters，error MSG “You must add at least one substitution and correct all errors”

Could not add filters, got a cryptic error message with no indication what to fix.

Now I can make far-right internet users say fun things instead of hatred.

I edited this after some research and it uses JS' regexes for its regex support. Definitely missing documentation.
Cannot Home/End in the fields which adds strong annoyance and frustration when editing in fields. Cannot see full expressions, have to scroll with arrows like crazy.
Still, it seems to work Ok for what it's intended for.

Для пользователей Русского языка. Если у вас удаляются, слова в которые входит мат, но сами они не матерные, например, слово "употреблять", то при добавление слова в словарь ставьте в кавычки матерное слово. Тогда правило будет касаться только его и больше не будет казусов в виде — "употре"

I am literally using FireFox MORE because of ***THIS*** extension!! EXCELLENT! It actually works. I tried 4 different ones for Chrome and NOT ONE worked like this one does. Whoever created this extension knows what they are doing. You have made my life easier. I am sincerely thankful! :)

И эта версия почему-т не русифицированная, прежняя была лучше.

Loving today's update. Thanks for all your work.

I installed it, went to "+ Add" I filled in the blanks "Replace" "Type" "With".
Then I hit the OK button and it gave me an error: "You must add at least one substitution"

...yeah, I am trying to add my first substitution and it doesn't let me.

It used to be a great addon but now I have no idea how to use it.
I just can't figure out how to get around the infamous "substitution" error because I have no idea what is meant by it if I already filled out the whole substitution page.
Please make this addon userfriendly again. I don't want to need a university diploma to use this addon.

i want to like this, i want it to work. but setting up the rules for a substitution only ever gives me an error that i need to add one even when if tried adding one...

It do its work and also make a webpage totally unusable. Maybe due to 1.0.0. version, ESR won't accept anything newer.

...it doesn't work with embedded Twitter tweets. At all. Even doing the manual "replace with substitution list" does absolutely nothing. I think this used to work, but not anymore.

Anytime I try to input a word to replace in the autoreplacer, it tells me I need to add at least one substitution even if I have already done so.

I wish it also had the ability to
* search for patterns without replacing them
* highlight the search term in the page
* substitute one word at a time

太棒了。不過希望能加入除了Auto、Manual、Auto&Manual 以外的 "Delay after loading" or "Delay after 10 Seconds"。有些網頁載入太慢，部分Auto反應太快會導致網頁開啟不完全。
