IDInfo (“we,” “our,” or “the tool”) looks up publicly available profile information for Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X (Twitter), YouTube, TikTok, GitHub and Telegram. This page explains what data we keep about lookups and visitors, and what we don’t.
Information we store

To serve profile pages and a sitemap, we store the platform name, username, numeric or channel ID (when available), profile URL, profile picture URL and optional public stats (followers, bio) for profiles that are looked up.

We do not log who looked up which profile or when. When a profile row is updated we may send automated, throttled notifications to search engines (e.g. Google, Bing) pointing to our public sitemap.xml so new pages can be discovered — no personal visitor data is included in those requests.
What we display

The tool displays only information that is already publicly available on the respective platforms. We do not access private account data, bypass login systems, or scrape protected content.
Cookies & third-party advertising

This site may serve third-party advertising (e.g. Google AdSense). Ad providers may use cookies and similar technologies to show relevant ads, measure performance and prevent fraud. You can control cookie preferences in your browser. For details, see Google’s advertising privacy policy. We do not control third-party data practices. By using this site you may receive personalized or non-personalized ads based on your browsing.
Rate limiting & security

We implement IP-based rate limiting and input validation to prevent abuse. Suspicious activity may be logged for security purposes. No personally identifiable information is collected beyond what is necessary for rate limiting.
Data retention

Profile data is cached for 30 days and then refreshed on the next request. Rate-limit data is automatically cleaned up after 1 hour. Security logs are retained for a limited period for abuse prevention.
Your rights

If you believe your publicly available profile data should not appear on this site, please contact us with the URL of the profile page and we will remove it promptly.
Compliance

We aim to comply with applicable privacy laws (including GDPR) and with Google’s policies for publishers. Use of this tool is at your own responsibility and in line with each platform’s terms of service.
