- Absolutely essential for a US book reader! (Unsure if it works outside the US)
Why buy a book if your library has it? You can usually get the e-book or audiobook immediately!
I used to be a book hoarder, but after hauling around hundreds of pounds of books in bins, the books rarely left the bin unless they were a favorite.
Now, all the non-favorites are gone. New books are all e-books because it's more convenient, or I get them on audio book, especially non-fiction books. - Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót Wužywaŕ Firefox 18966900, 6 hónapjaI cannot love this extension enough! It is often able to find books that I can't even find by searching for them IN my library catalogue! Recently my library changed systems and my beloved Library Extension stopped working. Crushed, desperate, but not really hopeful, I sent a help request to the team. TO MY SHOCK they fixed it and sent me a note back that all was up and running again!! If you're an avid reader, but prefer to reduce and reuse, saving Amazon purchases for the rare times you must, this extension is invaluable.

jo se napisał 6 hónapjaThanks for your comments! If you write in to support@libraryextension.com with the name and location of your library, I'll be happy to look at updating the listing to include any missing catalogs, such as CloudLibrary options, for your library! Libraries are regularly updating their offerings, so it's an ongoing effort on my part to keep everything up-to-date!

It works on all my favorite websites, and has all the platforms that my local library uses (Libby, CloudLibrary & Hoopla) and even has an internet library I belong to! It even works better to find books on Hoopla than using the search for my local library, lol. Thanks to the devs for making and maintaining this!
- This extension is so incredibly cool, and it makes it especially easy to figure out where I can borrow the books off of my Goodreads to-read list. Additionally, the developer added my library the day after I suggested it! Even though it is a simple idea, the execution is flawless and it already makes my life just a bit more convenient.

Quotidian's Library Extension checks library collections and allows you to choose *which* library collections to check (main aka the physical collection? or electronic collection? both?) and then they provide a link for found items. If you have just one library membership this app is a must - and if you have multiple, well, I don't know how you live without it.

- Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót Wužywaŕ Firefox 11591546, 9 hónapjaOne of my few mandatory extensions on every machine.
- Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót Wužywaŕ Firefox 17908281, 9 hónapjaI regularly use multiple libraries (city, county, other city, other county, university) and this extension is a time-saver AND a money-saver. Instead of searching five different library catalogs, I just end up on Amazon (which is where the internet wants me to go anyway 🙄) and the extension shows me what's available at all of my libraries. It's fantastic.
