Continually resets preferences with each update. Not recommended.

I preferred much more as the service menu was before, because a click was enough to select a source.

I mean that if one has the space on the screen, the drop-down menu is not necessary.

Few improvements as a previous user of privacy redirect

Invidious does not proxy all videos unless you login to your Invidious account.

Cookies were allowed.

Playsoju still connects to spotify through third-party requests.

Many Piped instances gives this error: 404. Not Found

Nitter, Rimgo and Scribe does not redirect for some reason. It goes straight to the main websites. You might want to consider https://imgin.voidnet.tech/

SimplyTranslate, Piped, Bibliogram, Proxitok, Teddit and Invidious works as intented.

This website seems to be expired https://stube.alefvanoon.xyz

Other than that it would be nice to have hide next videos on Piped but nothing UBO can't do it.

Works well enough and generally, the extension is greatly appreciated. But it feels like more instances are offline than not. Maybe they should be pinged and checked before even trying to use them. But the main reason why im uninstalling the app is because firefox is trying to download random html files from various websites while the addon is running.

OMG this is amazing! Particularly the search redirect. I was happy enough with Qwant but seeing the way LibRedirect throws each new search query to a different server, I no longer have to trust a single search engine. Woo freakin hoo!

1.5.3 doesn't work in Firefox at all — no redirects. Had to roll back to 1.5.2 which works like charm. Sorry, I don't have a GitHub account to file a bug properly.

UPD: if the settings do not persist and the redirects no longer work, just reinstall the extension — this resets the settings and fixes it.
This extension is great!

Nice with the instance change button.

After an update, it changed my homepage without permission and tried to change my default search engine too.
Edit: I have updated my review in light of the update. The fix for the homepage doesn't work however as the stored homepages were wiped after the update.

Amazing extension, updated frequently, works well and it's FOSS. Far superior to https://addons.mozilla.org/it/firefox/addon/privacy-redirect/
