wót Steve Lavendar, 8 moannen lynCame across this one a couple of months ago, thinking that's just what I've been looking for: an extension that allows me to quickly bookmark (right-click or keyboard shortcut would be nice) a site into “containers” (for lack of a better description).
Alas, this one turns out to be a bit like one those earlier Chinese apps I had to deal with while living & teaching there:
Great idea(s)! Though execution suc*s!
Example: while the initial premise of being able to create separate accounts for separate purposes kinda works, the extension doesn't seem to be able to store bookmarks in their related containers. As soon as I close & reopen Firefox the containers are once again empty, and I need to re-research for the sites I was looking for. To make matters worse, there doesn't seem to be an option to drag n drop existing (or new) bookmarks to related containers. Guess we gotta wait for an AI, or otherwise intelligent, solution.
Would be a great extension if it would offer an intuitive way to bookmark & save sites into relevant containers (and keep them there after closing FF).
Then again, I probably didn’t get the initial purpose of this extension, and might be looking in the wrong place, or perhaps I just don’t get what’s it trying to offer. Cheers.

With the account sync, containers are also remembered across different computers as well, so I don't have to set up the containers on every new laptop or reinstall of firefox. Sometimes I mistakenly open a website in the wrong container because I don't always map every single website to a container, but most of the time it's a non-issue.
I'm surprised this is still an add-on and not a core Firefox feature. - Z 1 z 5 pógódnośonywót Wužywaŕ Firefox 18184964, 3 dagen lynIt doesn't work for me. I cannot create a container where I am logged into Google and simultaneously a container where I'm not logged in.

For me, the only thing missing is the ability to have “private browsing” containers and a way to always open in a container, for example when editing a bookmark. - Z 1 z 5 pógódnośonywót Wužywaŕ Firefox 19794127, 7 dagen lyn

- Z 1 z 5 pógódnośonywót Сырное, 24 dagen lynSo, what do we have here? A mockery from Firefox. Let's go back to the proxy form - it expects "type://host:ip", but what do we actually get? No SOCKS5 support. I enter "SOCKS5://ip:port", and it complains about an unsupported record type. And the proxy has been verified as working. It simply wouldn't work with any functional proxy.
