    The new tab page still flashes bright white when opened. 3 stars because this is Mozilla's fault.

    I'm puzzled about how to use it. What I'd like it to do is to open a new tab in the current parent browser whenever I click a link shown in any tab. Please help.

    When using any option that places a URL in the address bar of a new tab the address bar gets focused but the text is not selected for writing over. Have to Ctrl-A and type over the URL set for the new tab. Started occurring with the switch to WebExtensions. Pain in the ass.

    Please don't give bad reviews (and only 3 stars are bad!) without saying what's wrong. New Tab Override has a lot of features and all features works without problems. If you need some different option please tell what you're missing. But such a review is useless…

    Is there a possibility to add a new tab as a duplicate (including current page and history) of the current tab? This would be a natural extension of the existing options. I'm kind of missing Tab Mix Plus in this new Firefox...

    Thank you for your suggestion. It's not possible at the moment, but I can implement this in a future update.

    But why only three stars? All features are listed in the description so there is no surprise, the add-on does excatly what it says.

    Seems to causes a slight delay (0.1 seconds?) after opening a new tab, until the address bar becomes available for typing.

    I don't know what do you mean with delay - the moz-extension URI in the address bar? There is nothing what WebExtensions can do to prevent this.

    I when Internet surfing use the add-on "Fast dial". A link on the home page looks "chrome://fastdial/content/fastdial.html". This addition automatically substitutes "Https://.." which makes loading the starting URL is impossible.

    It's a restriction by Firefox. It's not possible for WebExtensions to open chrome:// URIs.
