    The customizability seems good but it also seems very undercooked for the featureset it offers. Being unable to switch to a different default search engine makes this an immediate pass -- this should be a first class citizen feature for any homepage alternative. I know almost no power users who still use Google at this point and I'm in IT.

    Buggy messy, it's interface is just garbage, can't switch from google to a different search engine, change background and generally had a bad time trying to navigate through menus and all of this mess :(

    When I add a new site I wish it would automatically include an icon for that site.

    I am sorry you didn't find NewTab useful and thank you for your kind words. I recently released a more minimalist version of NewTab called NewTab Pastels; you may find it better suits your needs.

    very cool addon, love the thin lines & transparencies , but shortcuts don't work at all even when create one .keep up the good work...nice upcoming ideas
