The link (pesticide.io) causes a number of strange redirects and was blocked by my advanced wifi security as a known malicious IP. And why would it need to access any type of data to simply draw boxes around html elements? fishy af

why does it need special permission like collect all data and stuff for just adding elements?

I liked the Chrome version of this addon as it didn't require any special permissions. I'd love to know why it needs the specific permissions it requires when all it's doing is adding a border: 1px solid to all the DOM elements on the page
