jo se napisał kahdeksan vuotta sittenJust to confirm, Print Edit WE does all of the editing locally without using any intermediary or third party website. - Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót faryadsaheli483gmail.com, kahdeksan vuotta sitten
- Z 2 z 5 pógódnośonywót Wužywaŕ Firefox 13779437, kahdeksan vuotta sittenPrintEdit (without WE) was marvelous.
WE has one great flaw: When I click on "Preview" there is no preview. The printer dialog appears. The button "Print" doesn't exist anymore.
Why is there no preview (which is quite important to have a look how the printout looks)?Wótegrono wuwijarja
jo se napisał kahdeksan vuotta sittenUsing Firefox 56.0 or later version, the 'Preview' button will switch into the print preview window.
Using Firefox 55 or earlier version, the 'Preview' button just shows the print dialog. - Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót ceruleandaze, kahdeksan vuotta sitten
- Z 3 z 5 pógódnośonywót onix, kahdeksan vuotta sittenVery disappointed by new requirements to access ALL data on websites. Doesn't anyone else see this as a huge security breach?
UPDATE based on DW-dev's comments: I was not aware that the legacy Print Edit has such broad access. This is alarming. So in the vein of correcting these ills, the default Firefox permissions do not give me comfort. For example, does PE WE have access to my financial institution's open website in a separate tab, when I'm interested in printing a New York Time's article in my current tab? While I have no reason to question your word, it's hard to know and feel comfortable with what is going on beneath the surface. PE WE could be scraping all my website data, and I would never know.Wótegrono wuwijarja
jo se napisał kahdeksan vuotta sittenLegacy add-ons, such as the original Print Edit, had greater permissions than Print Edit WE.
The permission messages that you see when you install an add-on are generated by Firefox. These permission messages are based on the permissions specified in the add-on manifest file. These permission messages are broad-brush and do not give a detailed insight into the operations performed by an add-on.
In summary:
- Print Edit WE only asks for the permissions it needs to perform its functions.
- Print Edit WE saves the configured options in your Firefox profile on your computer.
- Print Edit WE (when you use Save As HMTL or Save As PDF) saves the page you have edited in the location you choose on your computer.
- Print Edit WE does not send any data to the developer or to third parties. - Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót Wužywaŕ Firefox 13761485, kahdeksan vuotta sittenТолько он мне показал фоновые цвета на одном из сайтов - просто спасение!

- Z 1 z 5 pógódnośonywót Brimstone, kahdeksan vuotta sittenNo longer works on MAC OS with Firefox 58 update. Locks up the page I am trying to print. Has become useless. Excellent product prior to Firefox 58 update.
- Z 3 z 5 pógódnośonywót Wužywaŕ Firefox 7024602, kahdeksan vuotta sittenWorked very well until Firefox 58.0.1 came out. Now it's broken (at least on macOS).
- Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót Grey-Black-White, kahdeksan vuotta sittenI am using this instead of Print Friendly & PDF because it allows you to edit the page on the same tab and every edit happens on your browser, rather than your page being uploaded some server, which is the case in Print Friendly & PDF. This add-on is also very easy to use and does what it promises without any problems.
- Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót Azman, kahdeksan vuotta sittenExcellent. Just play around with it for a while to get the expected output. Once you are familiar, most web pages can be output just the way you want.
- Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót Alex, kahdeksan vuotta sittenHi,
I've been looking for a Mozilla Archive Format replacement for a very long time. I was even going to write my own.
However, I found your perfect extension. It's superb! I am very grateful to you for your efforts.
I ask you to make some improvements.
Please add the option 'add an information panel to the saved HTML page' in the options. There is a link to the original url on the pdf-document pages. There was a panel at the top of saved .maff pages. Could you optionally add a similar panel for the saved HTML pages?
Here's how the saved .maff page looks like:

I also noticed that the page elements marked for deletion remain in the saved pages.
Such elements are hidden by 'display: none' style. I ask you to add the option 'do not leave in the saved html page items marked for deletion' in the options page.
And really delete them before saving.
Thanks again for the great extension!Wótegrono wuwijarja
jo se napisał kahdeksan vuotta sittenThe 'Save As HTML' feature in Print Edit WE is based on a subset of the features in my Save Page WE add-on. Save Page WE can be used with Print Edit WE if you need more advanced save features. All you need to do is to click on the Print Edit WE toolbar button to suspend editing, and then click on the Save Page WE toolbar button to save the edited page.
Save Page WE has an option to include an information bar to the saved page, similar to MAF.
Print Edit WE never really deletes HTML elements. This is by design and is not going to change. - Z 3 z 5 pógódnośonywót Wužywaŕ Firefox 13343420, kahdeksan vuotta sittenits just ok. it does not edit as good as print edit add on / extension.

jo se napisał kahdeksan vuotta sittenThis problem is caused by a long-standing bug in Firefox that only allows the first page (or first few pages) of some web pages to be previewed or printed. If you disable Print Edit WE and then use ‘File > Print Preview’, you will see that the problem happens without Print Edit WE.
However, you can use the ‘Fix Page Breaks’ command (on the 'Tools' button menu) in Print Edit WE to work around this Firefox bug on many web pages.
