jo se napisał há 8 anosHello,
This is a very interesting idea :)
I will definitely try. It should be possible (but maybe only on the main scroll-bar on the page).
I will try and let you know soon.
Thank you for the idea :)
Have a great day and enjoy the weekend.

Yes I'm sorry, the Android support is not yet done.
I'm planning to finish basic version for Android till the end of this year (wish me luck :)).
Have a nice day :)

Yes the toggle button is planned and will be added. Also I was thinking about some list of pages where you could disable it automatically.
Have a nice day :)

- Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót García y García, há 8 anosJust love it!. It does exactly what it needs to do.
If you find an annoying clash with URL Paste and Go on middle click, check my previous comment. - Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót Wužywaŕ Firefox 12711110, há 8 anosLegit there isn't any complains or issues I can think of from my experience with it, it just works!
You can add momentum, control the speed, reverse, change cursor, and it's extremely light and simplistic, I just love it performs great.
Only legit problem I have with it is something out of the developer's hands, which is it doesn't work on firefox official pages like this one... or the option/addon pages, just cause I get so used to it because of how smooth it works, I actually feel like that's how you use pc, I forget sometimes that other pages such as a folder or chrome do not work like that lmao (it's not really an issue just worth pointing out)
Anyways thanks for this amazingly useful addon, here's your well deserved 5 stars <3 Wótegrono wuwijarja
jo se napisał há 8 anosHello,
I'm sorry about this complication.
Just go to the Options page, select "Momentum" tab on the left, uncheck "enable momentum" check-box and click "Save changes".
Have a nice day :)

First of all, ScrollAnywhere works okay for simple websites and if this is what you're usually browsing, go for it. It'll make your life easier.
Now if you browse anything that's heavy on javascript, mixes divs with anchors, incorporates drag'n'drop behavior or does literally anything substandard, ScrollAnywhere won't be able to handle it.
You can find several examples in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6_e9rP--sug - Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót Wužywaŕ Firefox 5607301, há 8 anosGood job! Nice alternative for grab-n-drag!
- Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót TheTopMostDog, há 8 anosNot sure what's up, just refuses to work until I open a new non-e10s window, then it works flawlessly. I'm running nightly firefox 57, not sure if that's relevant; please get back to me.
Edit: Nah, doesn't make sense, mate. There's no conflicting plugins because only one of my existing plugins is compatible with FF57 and as far as I could tell, it was a problem on every page. I've dropped nightly for now, so I'm not able to play around and figure out what was causing the bug. I'll revisit this once November comes around, I guess, and I'll get back to you if I'm still having issue. Cheers for the quick reply.Wótegrono wuwijarja
jo se napisał há 8 anosHello,
ScrollAnywhere is fully compatible with e10s and should work in every new Firefox version, including Firefox 57 nightly (which I'm using right now).
BUT! Be aware that all new add-ons are blocked on:
- whole domain https://addons.mozilla.org (so scrolling won't work here)
- all internal pages like about:addons or options page
Also make sure you don't use other add-ons with similar functionality that could cause these issues...
Please let me know if this helps.
Have a nice day,

Hello,
I have a good news for you :). Changing cursor is on the way and it should come in the next version 5.0 in next few days/weeks.
Thanks for the review and have a nice day :)

jo se napisał há 8 anosHello,
Thank you for the review.
Regarding those iframes, they are pure evil to handle in web-extension and it took me quite some time to make it work (more-less).
In the example you send (very nice example), the whole right down square (preview part) is already in iframe and scrolling there works.
The smaller squares inside it are nested iframes (iframes inside iframe) and seems like Firefox (and Chrome as well) is not injecting the web-extensions in nested iframes (so scrolling is not working there).
I will try to investigate this further and I can ask community about this as well.
This issue was so far not a priority since for a none-developer users this scenario is quite rare.
Thank you for pointing this out, I'll let you know what I find out.
Have a nice day.
Best regards,
Juraj Mäsiar - Have been looking for an alternative to grab and drag for a long time, finally found this and it works almost identically. There is noticable stutter when scrolling through pages that have multiple embeded videos and a ton of images though it works smoothly once the page has been fully loaded. Momentum and infinite scroll makes scrolling so much better. The developer seems to be actively working on this add-on aswell.

jo se napisał há 8 anosHello,
Thank you for the review.
Regarding the poor performance on big pages, this is something that should get better with every new Firefox version. Even now if you enable e10s Multiprocess you should get better performance, see https://wiki.mozilla.org/Electrolysis#Force_Enable
Other than that I'm not sure I can make it much faster, I tried to apply all performance optimization knowledge I have.
Have a nice day,

Juraj Mäsiar - Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót Wužywaŕ Firefox 13176107, há 8 anosIf I hold the middle button while on a link, scroll down and back up, then release the middle button while the mouse is on the same link, the link is then activated. This is quite annoying and didn't happen with Grab n Drag. Is it possible to disable activating a link once scrolling has been performed? It is very easy to hit this problem on pages with many links, e.g., the BBC news page http://www.bbc.co.uk/news. I often middle click on the "main" story (a huge link near the top) scroll down to see if there's any stories of interest, then scroll back to the top. This often inadvertently triggers opening the main headline link.
Otherwise great add-on. +1 with the request to display a different cursor while scrolling.Wótegrono wuwijarja
jo se napisał há 8 anosHello,
Thank you for the review.
Regarding the bug with links, it's a known issue and at first I thought it's impossible to fix.
However thanks to you I gave it a second thought and after some heavy out-of-box thinking I manged to fix that! So thank you for the push :)
The fixed version 4.8 should be released soon (it's already waiting for Firefox review).
Regarding changing the cursor - why not, right? I will try to make it in future release in next few weeks.
Thanks again and have a nice day!
Best regards,
Juraj Mäsiar - Its a very useful Add-On and works great so far! The Momentum feature works great too, even its a bit choppy sometimes and could be a bit smoother - but i'm not sure if its the Add-on or just my PC/Firefox @55.0b7@64 bit.
EDIT: Alright, it works flawless and butter smooth after enabling e10s@7 instances with following settings:
Grab and drag (like on a smartphone): 1
Momentum enabled
Page weight: 300
Additional speed: 0
Additional duration: 0
Advanced momentum setup:
Compute from last: 50
Mouse stop detection: 30
Tracking speed: 5
Smoothness: 1
Keep the great work going Juraj! - Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót TheAssassin, há 8 anosWe need an option to emulate dragging the scrollbar, just like grab'n'drag had.The current method of selecting the drag speed is not optimal for sites with a lot of vertical content.

jo se napisał há 8 anosHello,
could you explain more what you have in mind?
Currently there is several options you can choose from - default is emulating dragging scrollbar, there is also grab and drag style (like on phone or in Adobe PDF).
See options page to see all options.
Also to have a better communication please write my to my support e-mail. You can find it here or on www.fastaddons.com
