Simple, yet so helpful! A few more settings, like sort only within a folder or find duplicates and it would be even better.

I would give 5 stars if only it could let us orginise different folders with different settings. for example I want to keep my bookmarks toolbar with a certain manual order, but I want to keep my bookmarks meny sorted by reverse date, the newer bookmarks to go on top, but now I cant use the always keep sorted option because it will mess up with my bookmark toolbar. Please do this!

Works perfectly and is exactly what I'm looking for! Maybe change the styling from Times New Roman but otherwise, a simple and effective extension!

I'd love for this add-on to do more, like sort by date added in other bookmarks but by title in menu and toolbar.

This add-on sorted my Bookmarks well.

Wanted something that does one thing and does it good (vs boatware) - this addon was perfect. Keeps my bookmarks sorted by the criteria I defined. Keeps choices refined to the few primary specific to task, avoiding the clutter of trying to do too much - resulting in the ideal performance and a 5 star rating from me.

Finally a good extension which does not require the "access-your-data-for-all-websites" permissions.
Even in 2025 it seems to be working great.

Does what I need it to do, which is sorting my rather large bookmark list in alphabetical order by title.

On the positive side, this add-on respects separators and sorts within them. Auto-Sort Bookmarks does not respect separators. On the negative side, this add-on does not provide an option to exclude selected folders from sorting. Auto-Sort Bookmarks does provide that option.

Lacking an option to exclude folders, it's important to be able to manually sort the folders you want to exclude from automatic sort. However, this add-on will automatically resort your manually sorted folders every time you restart Firefox if you have the "Always keep sorted" option enabled. If you don't keep that option enabled, you'll have to manually sort each new bookmark.

Three stars for a good start, but this add-on needs more work (as does Auto-Sort Bookmarks).
