If all you want is a tab count and nothing else, it'll work as long as you don't have a dark theme.. For me, it had black text w transparent bg on dark theme.... had to pull up a magnifier app to read it.

This has no Preferences section so you won't be able to customize the bg/fg colors either. If this is something you need, you may want to check out: 'Tab Count Icon by lllusion3418', 'Tab Counter (Tilwa fork) by tqdv', or 'Tab Counter (fork) by vhfmag'

    Black on dark blue is difficult to read in default & dark themes. It's fine in light theme, but I think light theme is ugly.

    Working for me (FF 63.0.1 32bits). Simple, no options. Sits in the tab bar. Discretion ok.

    I'll consider it. Funnily enough I never intended this to be used by anyone else. And I haven't updated to 57+ due to lack of addon support. Also, in case anyone notices the bug of it not counting tabs when you open firefox, just click the number to force a recount.
