Text to Speech wót Alanas

Text to Speech reads any text you select aloud. Two modes.

Browser voices (default):
- Uses the speech engine built into Firefox / your operating system.
- Free, unlimited, offline. The text you read never leaves your device.
- Adjustable speed (0.5x to 2x) and pitch (0.5 to 2).
- Every voice your OS exposes is available, grouped by language.

AI voices (opt-in):
- Six expressive voices from OpenAI's TTS engine.
- Off by default. The first time you switch the toggle to AI, you see a consent panel that names the host and what is sent.
- The selected text is sent over HTTPS to our proxy at ai-proxy-production-6b92.up.railway.app/v1/tts. The proxy forwards it to OpenAI to produce audio and returns the audio to the extension. We do not store the text.
- Free trial: about 5,000 characters per day per IP (around 2-3 minutes of speech).

How to use:
Select text on any page. Right-click. Pick "Read aloud". Or use the keyboard shortcut (Alt+Shift+T by default).
