In version 6.42.18.3 (or earlier), IDM is not able to detect media streams on sites if Firefox is run with the -wait-for-browser switch.

Now, it doesn't work even with the latest IDM installed.

This has never worked well in my experience. It always takes over downloads, that it does okay but if I don't want it to capture a download such as viewing a pdf in my browser the icon when clicked to toggle the download interception to off makes zero difference and it still captures the download. There is a key which is supposed to stop it but I cannot see that anywhere, it might be the [DEL] key. It would be okay if it was possible to disable the download interception but that doesn't work on my browsers either Waterfox G5, Waterfox G6 or LibreWolf. It's just a damn nuisance not being able to stop it grabbing the downloads when I don't want it to.
