You still have to wait for the ad timer but at least there is no ad and instead a message saying "waiting for ad break" with no sound. Better than having to listen to the ads i guess

why so hated!? I didn't found any ad-blocker to block ads from twitch and this ad-blocker at least prevents ads from killing your ears.

unfortunately twitch has updated so that you will still see a commercial break screen but i'm giving five stars because it is still a Much less obnoxious interruption. hopefully this extension will get an update someday but twitch's greed is strong, keep fighting the good fight ToT

Works great! only reason for the four star is that when addon is enabled the max stream is 480p. great job!

Funciona mas o menos, osea, hace lo que dice, pero no e logrado que los stream NO les baje la calidad.
Me mantiene 480p de transmisión , talvez arreglen eso y cambio mi valoración

It doesn't work, however that is not this extension's fault. Twitch is really good at preventing ad blocking on their site. So far I have yet to find an ad blocker that works.

Addon does not work, simply does nothing.

The ads are... blocked, which I wanted, but they are instead replaced with a commercial break banner. Which is objectively better than the ads, but the experience is not as seamless as users may hope.
