VCam Bypass helps compatible websites recognize virtual cameras by modifying the device information exposed through the MediaDevices API. It can spoof camera labels, device IDs, group IDs, and selected capabilities to improve compatibility with applications that expect a physical webcam. The extension is intended for development, testing, and legitimate compatibility use cases. No user video or camera data is collected or transmitted.
