Искал рабочий (и бесплатный!) ВПН для просмотра YouTube из России. Среди немногих подходящих нашёл VPN VeePN.
Плюсы:
С базовым функционалом бесплатен, регистрация не требуется;
YouTube стабильно дежит качество 720p;
Другие сайты, попавшие под блокировку в России VeePN тоже открывает.
Минусы:
Само расширение работает довольно медленно - подключение/отключения от ВПН сервера порой занимает несколько минут.
Вердикт:
Своё дело VeePN делает, хотя не всем может поравится его "задумчивость" при запуске/отключении. В целом, если нужен простенький, бесплатный ВПН для браузера, VPN VeePN это то, что нужно. Рекомендую!
P.S. Да, им можно пользоваться бесплатно, но с некоторыми ограничениями. Для полного функционала (больше серверов, выше скорость соединения и лучше стабильность подключения, и т.д.), уже требуется подписка. Регистрация для бесплатного использования не требуется.

Абсолютно нерабочее нагроможденное медленное гвно. Само расширение не грузится напрямую, т.е. надо "впн для впн" блин. Не подключается к любым серверам, постоянная ошибка. Ну и сразу видно сплошные ограничения. Короче абсолютно бесполезное.
