wót Alexandra, 2 lata temuOverall the extension is really great, however it would be great if there were the ability to disable it for specific websites or for the extension to actually do nothing at +0 dB,
I am saying this, because currently there seems to be a bug with this extension that if you have it, and it has the permission "Access your data for all websites", videos in the online discord app do not make any sound.
I did check and without the extension or the permission that issue does not occur, however if i don't give the permission the teal dot of the extension requesting it is really annoying, so i think for now i will either remove it or simply disable it until and unless the issue gets resolved
(EDIT)
More specifically, video files in discord(at least ones with the .mov extension) don't make any sound, however everything else on discord still makes the sound with the extension active

jo se napisał 2 lata temuThat's why such things are optional...
I have tried on discord, without issue, both with the extension enabled w/ optional permissions and without.
Alternatively to setting in the optional permissions, I think you can toggle it on a per site basis, by right clicking the extension and clicking "always on on *.com"
Sadly there's no method to quickly toggle the permissions on FF, I tried looking into setting a hotkey to enable/disable the extension but it wasn't working...
The default behavior is to only operate on click (when you click the extension, otherwise it shouldn't be running)

It prevents the page from functioning correctly by freezing Firefox, forcing me to close Firefox completely. Even after clicking "Manage Extensions," clicking the Permissions tab, and allowing "Access your data for all websites," it still works. I've tested all my extensions, and yours is the only one causing this problem. The only version that works for me is 1.1.1. Please look into what's wrong.

- Z 4 z 5 pógódnośonywót Det.Fusco, 7 miesięcy temuI was using a volume manager extension on chrome that one could increase and lower volume in some increments via customizable extension shortcuts. Mine were alt+up/down arrow keys
It'd be nice if we could do the same here. We can already bring up the volume window by an extension shortcut. Why not add a few for up and down adjustments? - Z 1 z 5 pógódnośonywót Slinx, 8 miesięcy temuwould be 5 stars, but it makes all audio on the browser crackle and even slightly stutter

jo se napisał 7 miesięcy temuIt really shouldn't the only reason it should crackle is if you turn the volume past 0db because some audio sources might peak.
Your issue of audio crackling is usually a non-grounded auxiliary or, a high memory latency / memory bug.
When I was on z97 and had my memory set to 2133mhz [a very high xmp value for ddr3] the audio constantly crackled when running certain applications. This can also be experienced when running with a lack of buffer while using an ASIO driver.
Completely unrelated to the plugin itself but maybe exacerbated by it. - Z 5 z 5 pógódnośonywót Nozomi Miyamori, 9 miesięcy temu

One thing to note that if it is not working on certain websites ensure you go into your settings and allow it to run on websites with restrictions or it will seem as if a website is on the blacklist even if it is not.

jo se napisał 7 miesięcy temuThe channels are not individually controlled so it shouldn't if you have issues with stereo you can employ mono.- No longer works on Meta-owned sites, which are the entire reason I installed it (given Facebook videos have no volume sliders). Trying to use it on Facebook or Instagram since the latest update now causes a "This site is in the exclusions list" despite having not changed any settings on my end. I'm sure this is due to a change with Meta, but it defeats the purpose of this extension for me.

jo se napisał rok temuUnless it's in the exclusion list, it shouldn't display this message. Please paste your log in the github issues..... you can also temporarily downgrade to an older edition from the github releases page or the versions page on mozilla https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/volume-control-boost-volume/versions/
Hope I can help you resolve your problem and you can revise your review to 5 stars. I jut do this as a hobby.
