Update: As of Feb 8th 2026, I am also now having issues with this plugin working. I am not sure I will be able to fix it but I will look into it. It does seem like Youtube changed 'something' but I am unsure what. If anyone else knows feel free to leave me a hint.

It still seems to work for me. But Youtube does tent to rollout updates unevenly so it is possible something has changed I have not encountered yet.

For me, the buttons on the site's search results often don't display until you have tried to filter for something once already. You can get around this by using the button in the box provided by the add-on's toolbar menu; which should work so long as you are on a Youtube search result page.

Both still seem to work for me atm. The toolbar menu 'should' keep working so long as Youtube doesn't remove or alter the actual 'code' they add to the end of a search result link.

Honestly happy to accept 'janky' as an observation; as I agree. This was slapped together as a solution for myself and am just pleased there are a handful of others that are finding it useful.

I am terrible at self-advertisement so if you find it '4 star janky' but functional and can't find anything better; please let other people know. And if anyone ever finds is a better add-on, feel free to post in my reviews about it as I doubt I will be super attentive on updates or maintenance unless it outright breaks.
