This is an amazing addon that anyone who watches streams on Youtube should have installed.

However, there are two (very minor) issues with the addon that I hope can be fixed in a future update.
1. There seems to be a hotkey (T) used to toggle the mode on and off. This hotkey remains active even when the video isn't focused. So if I try to write a comment in the comment section, pressing T toggles theater mode and makes it impossible to continue the comment.
2. Youtube did a recent facelift update and changed the data that is displayed near the video's title area. Now, if you turn theater mode on, this new data is stuck and overlayed over the video and doesn't go away.

Thank you for the feedback and bug reports!

The two issues should be fixed with version 3.0.3 (amongst other bugs):

1. The hotkey to toggle livestreams theater mode will not trigger anymore when focus is on a text area or input field.

2. I still get the old version of the title area, but found the new one in the code, which is probably currently delivered to some users as part of an A/B-testing. This new version of the title area should now be supported too, assuming that you get the same one I found in the code.

    Possible temp fix for plugins like this where the live chat on the ride side using theater mode especially interferes with these kind of plugins. This will restore old live chat functionality and make these kind of plugins work again until you can get around to fixing it yourself somehow. Maybe this can help somebody. It's on Greasyfork called "YouTube Classic Live Chat Position" by Amadeus-AI

Only wish you could somehow get your overlay to still be working when going into full screen with this plugin specifically, so that's why I put 4 stars unless I'm doing something wrongs I'll adjust rating apologies!! Eh I give it a 5 anyways goes it's doing what it's intended to do... Just wish the overlay would work no matter if in full screen. Edit: Awesome thanks NaPaliGhost appreciate your work on this plugin again! I also forgot I realized f11 would also be a work around. Thanks for mentioning that! :)

    I plan to have the extension work with the new YouTube fullscreen, but I don't know yet when I will get to work on that. For now you can also just enter livestreams theater mode and then enter fullscreen by pressing F11.

    Version 4.1.2 fixes the issue where the buttons of the extension wouldn't show up anymore. Since YouTube is currently doing more A/B testing, some issues remain for some users. Those will be fixed in a future update.

    Works exactly as expected straight out of the box ! A lovely little set of adjustable features too. Doesn't seem to conflict with any other extensions that change youtube either (e.g. Enhancer for Youtube).

    I love this add-on. It enables you to watch livestream on the center of the screen instead of the left side because of the chat on the right side. And you can place the chat anywhere but you need to do it on the settings instead of just doing it on youtube screen.

    A few months ago, there were a lot of problem with it not appearing at all. But it got more stable because youtube wasn't updating its interface anymore. Which I thought is the source of the problem and not the add-on itself.

    Works as intended albeit with some fiddling if used with other extensions. Can the devs PLEASE make this livechat view work is full screen mode? I would give it a 5 star if that can be done!

    Doesn't work on vods that have been hidden. Other than that works great.

    This might be an error caused by YouTube currently fighting ad blockers. Please try disabling any ad blockers to see if that fixes the issue.
