από frikdt, 2 χρόνια πρινFor an award-winning Firefox-supported extension I find documentation on the provided functionality sorely lacking. I installed this mainly for the blocking feature, hoping to replace the retarded native youtube algorithm. After a frustrating hour or two, unable to figure out how the blocklist is supposed to work, checking the extension documentation, their home (github) page, and even returning to this installation page, I'm giving up.

And blocklist appears in the lastest video review from a popular channel as stated in our wiki. You can enable it and then see a new block button on thumbnails and on channel pages. And more that you might suggest (maybe also a keyboard short cut to block the current channel?) - As a maintainer i care for unique features the most that). (aand luckily the blocklist feature got a whole overhaul / rewrite with these month and we can upload another update for it in a few days. (and you could help test that one already).

But I have 2 features I'd like to ask for. 1 being a separate grid size options for shorts and for the side bar on video player. While I'm not doom scrolling shorts, I'm sub'd to a few channels that put out great quality shorts that'd I'd like to view. Shorts are just really large compared to normal thumbnails. It's a balancing issue choosing between smaller thumbnails vs huge shorts. 2, Sidebar thumbnails feel huge after installing this extension. If you could include an option to reduce thumbnail size and increase video title space, that'd be great. But 2 is honestly just personal preference. I'm using Zen Browser if that makes any difference.

In addition, videos sometimes stop playing when I switch to another browser tab. In those cases, playback resumes as soon as I return to the YouTube tab. The behavior is somewhat similar to the YouTube mobile app, where playback may stop when the screen or app is switched.
Both issues tend to occur near the beginning of a video rather than throughout the entire playback session.
