There is a known issue where it mutes your tab after searching for a song, which hasn't been fixed for months.

Definitely wasn't the case of abandoning the extension or using it for advertising a service; it's just incredibly tricky to get audio recording working on Firefox, as the browser doesn't support direct audio capture from the tab.
