Causes massive lag on browser. Nothing to do with computer as mine is pretty powerful. The lag instantly went away upon uninstalling.
Won't ever use again.

lags the browser all the time and crashes tabs too. Wastes too much time and resources stealing your data and at times makes the browser unusable. Sends you "deals" to 3rd party sellers and will spam your email with multiple emails a day if you even glance at a product on almost any major website.

Do not trust any of these high star reviews. Too many times they do not honoured their word, try to avoid paying out, and force you to record everything you do through them.

Do not trust any e-mails they give you. All you may get is some shoddy gift cards. Only use if you EXTENSIVELY use gift cards that you can try and accrue over a period of time while they record your "shopping".

It's another scam app like Honey, and rarely will ever save you any money.

Does not work :

1) the addon does not produce codes for eg Dan Murphys (which was the site promoting the extension).

2) The add on presents discounts for US websites in Australia (eg macys.com or ebay.com) which obviously can't be used.

Scam app that doesn't actually ever save you money. Coupons that don't work. Cash back that is usually only 0.5%. And promotions that you aren't actually able to redeem because they disappear as soon as you go to redeem them. Don't fall for the bogus rewards that the app claims. You won't get them. I have been using this app for over 6 months and have yet to get any savings.

Basically just Honey 2.0

STEALS FROM YOU WITH HONEY AND PAYPAL

Does NOT save you money. Gets you RIPPED OFF! Sets you up with shady third party merchants that aren't there to save you money at all. Install AT YOUR OWN RISK

was offered a $15 coupon on the amc theater website by Rokt to install, installed and never received for the amc website, capital one shopping website then says i have a $10 credit for sign up, not able to use this for amc, uninstalled.

Fake $45 "reward" for installing never appears anywhere. A bad start that does not bode well for future use uninstalling and reporting.

When purchasing from Ticketmaster I did not receive the promised dicsount. None of the coupon codes work. Given the promo was in the cart both companies have an obligation to honor the $40 discount. Both declined to deal with it indicating it was part of a rewards program. It was misleading to start and further so when they show the promo as 'redeemed' in the cart.

I added the cap one plugin and then restarted my order and none of the coupon codes offered worked. that’s a double fail. It did not redeem or offer valid redemption codes.

This appears misleading and predatory in nature. The advert purposely gives the user the impression the user is getting a $40 discount for this order. That was not the case.

Any business that has to hide behind buyer beware is a god-awful business.

To the representative handling the case: my frustration is not aimed or for you. These two companies have been screwing customers for a very long time.

Great Extension Ive Been Using For Some Time Now Always A Great Addition To The Checkout To Save Money Real Promo Codes!

In general, this add-on is decent, but I've had three big issues with it.
1, It's dumb. There has been an occasion where I had manually applied a code and by running Capital One shopping it actually removed my (better) code, and applied one that gave me less savings. Irritating to say the least.
2, The second issue I have encountered is it doesn't seem to be able to apply more than one code even if the codes can work together.
3, It's inconsistent. I removed a code, messed around in the cart, ended up with the same stuff, came back. When Capital One ran again, it gave me a code that had didn't save as much. Why didn't it apply one of the better codes? This is also how I found out about multiple codes, because I added the first one back (I don't trust C1 shopping so I saved the code) and managed to save the most with the combo of codes.

It has definitely located better codes to save more money with minimal effort from me but this is not a perfect solution, at least on the coupon and discount code front. Still easier than me searching them up, though!

It really saves you money.
