- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14707454, 6 years agoI'm glad I found this. This is a very good extension and does exactly what it says. For me, it is the only one that properly blocks videos. Auto-playing videos were slowly driving me insane; no more.
I have a few suggestions:
1. Let's say I want to watch a video on a page but don't want to give it permanent permission. I have to enable videos, reload the page, watch the video and then disable videos again.
If possible, it would be nice to have an option to temporarily allow a blocked video to play without having to go through the above; a click-to-play option, perhaps.
2. A list showing the already whitelisted domains would be nice. Also, the option to type in and add addresses directly into the list.
EDIT: 3. I just noticed something. There is no option to directly whitelist embedded videos in a page. I have to find the blocked video's domain from the "Blocked so far" list, open it in another tab and whitelist it there, which mostly doesn't work because most addresses redirect. A button or a checkbox for whitelisting, next to each entry in the blocked list would be helpful. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14323663, 7 years agoVery easy to use. Click items to block or allow. Green items are allowed, red items are blocked. I use this to block all types of video including HTML5, Jwplayer, Flash, autoplay videos and social media widgets. This will save a lot of data. I will keep this add-on!
