- Rated 3 out of 5by Rusty, a year agoWorks great, but ever since I downloaded it I seem to randomly get logged out of twitter with a message at the bottom that reads "Your account may not be allowed to perform this action, please refresh the page or try again" or something along those lines. I don't know if this is a result of me clicking on posts at the same time that the bot blocks an account, leading to twitter thinking I'm behaving like a bot, or what. It's annoying though not nearly as annoying as having twitter blue nerds in my replies constantly

posted a year agoyou may want to try adjusting the block interval. it defaults to 15 seconds, which should be good, but a lower number puts you at a risk of getting logged out due to rate limiting. - Rated 3 out of 5by L. V., a year agodefinitely blocks twitter blue accounts, but it tends to leave some leftover even after i refresh the page. i've also had it re-block one account i manually unblocked twice.
also, for some reason i more often than not get the notification that an account has been blocked (which already takes up a bit of space) repeated about 2-5 times for the same twitter account, which visually takes up a lot of space, and presumably makes me unable to tell which other accounts it has additionally blocked, should i want to unblock one of them.Developer response
posted a year agohey! the reason why some accounts are "left over" is because blocking needs to be done slowly over time to prevent your account from getting locked. you can view the accounts queued to be blocked from the context menu found by clicking the addon's icon in your browser's toolbar.
as for the repeated messages, I've experienced that bug as well and I'm not sure of the cause, but I'm looking into it.
regarding unblocking, the addon will not re-block a user you've unblocked when you click "undo" from the popups (or "never block" from the queue viewer). however, if you manually unblock them, the addon does not yet detect this and know to safelist them. the best I can suggest at the moment is to wait for them to be added to the queue and then click "never block". I'm sorry I don't have a better answer yet. - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 17863991, a year agoWorked for a while and then just stopped queueing up tweets. Could be Twitter messing with stuff, I dunno.

posted a year agohi! what version are you using? there was an issue for tweet replies that was fixed a few days ago in version 0.2.5. if you have version 0.2.5, could you make an issue on github and provide more information so it can be fixed? Thanks! https://github.com/kheina-com/Blue-Blocker/issues - Rated 3 out of 5by Speedy, 2 years agoKind of works. It is very inconsistent at blocking users in replies. If you go to their profile and refresh, it'll block them then. Otherwise, it doesn't do a great job. The console logs also state it's due to "NFT avatars" which isn't the case
