In what way is it not working? Some users recently seem confuses by the fact that subreddits on Old Reddit can still have custom stylesheets and so can vary in how they look. You can turn these off in your user preferences in Reddit itself.
Some other users seem confused by the fact that there are now 3 major Reddit designs. This extension is only to load Old Reddit (old.reddit.com). - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18474623, 3 months agoDoesn't work. If you run a google search for content on reddit, clicking on a result will open a new tab that redirects to the new reddit layout. The url does contain "old.reddit" but its completely ineffective.

If you're having issues, please report a bug here - https://github.com/tom-james-watson/old-reddit-redirect.
I have never seen this happen and have no way of investigating this and fixing it if it's a real bug if I don't have a bug report where you can let me know what browser version, OS, other extensions you have etc.
Generally issues with the extension stem from it clashing with other extensions users have installed - so try disabling them and trying again. - Rated 1 out of 5by J4ME5, 9 months agoSome links redirect to a random post from a subreddit that I've never visited nor did I want to visit.

posted 9 months agoThis bug was fixed a few months ago. If the add-on has not automatically updated then you may need to remove it and then reinstall it. - Rated 1 out of 5by mrklean, a year agoIs this some kind of protest or joke due to the third party apps protest on reddit?
Why on earth do all my Reddit links now redirect behind the scenes to https://old.reddit.com/r/funny/comments/media/nice_hat/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Fond2117tbwgb1.jpg instead of where the should land. The hover text in the bottom left for the URL even displays the correct URL, but having this extension enabled redirects me to the aforementioend "Nice_hat" link.
Below is a video of the issue - hope I can pass imgur links

posted a year agoThis is due to a strange redirect that is being performed on Reddit's end. A fix has been made in the extension to avoid this happening and should reach users as version 1.7.2 whenever it makes it through the approval system.

- Rated 1 out of 5by digital, 4 years agoWhy would anyone use this when you could just opt-out within Reddit itself?

posted 4 years agoThis was due to the .git folder and some screenshots being included in the bundle. They no longer are. All of the code is open source and available on https://github.com/tom-james-watson/old-reddit-redirect.- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15263231, 5 years ago
