optionalな権限なら毎度毎度要求するような真似をしないでください - Rated 1 out of 5by Billy Bob, 5 months agoDO NOT UPDATE THIS ADDON! Last version works awful, always not turning on automatically with browser, for unblock results now you must go in addon settings, it was unblocking back on page context menu before - one click. Works slow, when stop working randomly, it need to restart whole browser. Author kill his own addon with updating.
UPDATED: Lol, no, thats all, folks. I cant made it work anymore. Same settings, restarting browser, refreshing page, turning on and off addon, nothing. Search - Google. It just dont work. Great update👍🏻 P.S. We have such a thing like TESTING before publishing updates. Please, use it before publishing. - Rated 1 out of 5by xdoo675, 5 months agoNow shows a dialog on every single site I visit asking to block the site. This is an awful change and constantly having to click into the add-ons menu to dismiss a dialog and make the notification dot go away ruins any sort of flow I had. If you're on an old version don't let it auto update, it was a great extension but not anymore.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14375826, 8 months agoEDITED FOR CLARITY
I would love to give uBlacklist 5 stars but unfortunately the thing can't seem to decide when it will and will not work on startpage, my main search engine. When we open up a new tabfor the first time, it works as intended. If I search from within that particular tab (that is, if I have searched "chicken recipe" then decide to edit that search to "chicken soup recipe") it no longer works. Even if I go to the browser bar rather than the search engine bar.
This renders the thing pretty much useless to me. I do not find this particularly surprising, because 99% of everything involving the internet is garbage, but I do find it frustrating. So very, very Frustrating.
FURTHER EDIT: it appears that ublacklist, in addition to the above problem, only works for the specific url that they keep on their end. this means that using the startpage settings url (the one you can use instead of using a cookie to save user settings) does not register on ublacklist's end. As we all know, any measure the user takes to protect their online privacy must be met with resistance to dissuade them from continuing to deviate from the norm. - Rated 1 out of 5by Natustell, 8 months agoThis behaves as if "Add rules blocking whole sites by default" is always on regardless of value. It's not possible to block specific pages, only entire sites.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18828015, 10 months agoça ne bloque rien du tout, ça ne fait que me surveiller
- Rated 1 out of 5by Сырное, 10 months agoThis extension doesn't block network requests - it hides stuff in the search engine. The patterns don't work (yeah, they're set up right) - I always have to hide things in the search engine using the extension button. Wouldn't it be easier to just block it through a proxy?

- Rated 1 out of 5by Kyoko, a year agoIt was great at first, but it doesn't seem to be working anymore. I blocked Amazon, but I'm still seeing Amazon products in search results.
- Rated 1 out of 5by wasabimon, a year agoPagination is broken in google images, new results won't load when you scroll down.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Plus_Escapee, 2 years agoUsing Firefox, it doesn't show up in extensions list from the puzzle piece menu, can't be pinned from extensions manager, has instructions to pin and use but isn't in the list. Crappy, incomplete plugin with no redundancies.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18205130, 2 years agoUPD 2: Some blocked websites still appear in search results.
UPD 1: THIS ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT WORK IN DDG. Im return to google.
does not remove from the results in the Pictures sections, etc. in the same Google & DuckDuckGo. Please fix it, i like your addon.
Thanks for SERPINFO feature, finally on other search working (uBlacklist stopped removing certain sites from the search results that I want to avoid with all my might, for example abc.site.com I write it down as *:/abc.site.com /* and *:/*.site.com/*)
Please fix it and i put 5 stars. - Rated 1 out of 5by Kep, 2 years agoStopped working on google image results, which was the entire reason I installed it. Still works on google text results.
- Rated 1 out of 5by just, 3 years agoDon't work with anything other than Google. In other words, it is useless.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 17753642, 3 years agoGot the extension to hide Aliexpress from search results.
Added Aliexpress as well as Alibaba to the blacklist and...
NOTHING.
Extension would allow the searches and when clicked on the link it would let me go to the site.
When clicking on the extension in the toolbar it would ironically show "Unblock this site"
It was NEVER blocked!
Useless extension that does not work!
