Thank you kindly for taking the time to write this review and feedback. Much appreciated!
On 1 & 2, we do take many precautions here such that normal web content cannot interfere with the pieces we render into the web page. Through use of ShadowDOM (which stops other web content from being able to see our content), confirmation prompts (for credit cards and identity items which don't have associated URLs), and never taking an account password to unlock from within the webpage, we take a large number of precautions to secure the experience.
If you do still feel nervous about the in-page suggestions, they can be set to not automatically show or not show at all using the settings under the Autofill section.
If you want to continue to use the existing unlock shortcut, connecting the extension with the desktop app will let you use that. Once connected the unlocking the desktop app will unlock the extension. The keyboard shortcut for the opening the pop-up is configurable within the settings, but we definitely understand can be hard to change when you are so used to a specific workflow for so long :)
Thanks again for all the feedback and input here. Feel free to write to us if you have any additional concerns or thoughts you’d like to share! You can write to us via email privately to support+x@1password.com or publicly in our community forum: https://1password.community/

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18768772, 14 days agoMade the mistake of having auto updates on. this extension no longer supports version 7 and a paid subscription is required to use the tool. Pointless now. Do not use.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Daniel Landeros, a month agoIt looks like they fixed the log in issue on firefox, at least for now. Will update again if it fails.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Anngie1984, a month agoI had the old standalone version which worked Great until they stopped supporting it this fall and I was forced to get the subscription version. Now it takes almost a full minute for the extension to even offer me the option to enter my master password. It also has to reload the extension about every 8th opening so I concur with others who've said it does not work well with Firefox. I can only hope the developers are working to improve it with this browser. Once activated it is still a good password manager tool.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Stoian Slavchev, a month agoGreat app, no issues, no worries, it "just" work. Probably the best solution when you are working on several computers and need to "share" credentials between different OS (Windows, Linux & MAC).

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15742355, a month agoDec 13 2024...completely took over so I uninstalled, now my normal logins no longer work--both username and passwords...locked out of my bank, credit cards and brokerages..calling them individually to unlock
Anybody know of a registry edit to disable it? - Rated 3 out of 5by Andre, a month agoSince the last update on December 11, the extension has stopped working with 1Password Mini from version 6 of the software. Anyone else having this problem?
