- Rated 3 out of 5by dejvo, 2 months agoThis add-on used to work great and I would've given it 5 stars. However, for the last couple months, it's been failing to open on both my laptop and my desktop whenever I open it after rebooting. It's to the point where I expect it to happen. Why I'm especially disappointed is because I get a pop-up to report this issue to the developers and I always send the report; however, after months of sending this report almost daily, nothing has changed. It gives me no belief that the developers care about their end-users and that's really saddening because I am a developer who cares about his end-users...
- Rated 3 out of 5by Andre, 4 months agoSince the last update on December 11, the extension has stopped working with 1Password Mini from version 6 of the software. Anyone else having this problem?

- Rated 3 out of 5by Katie4037, 5 months agoI appreciate this extension and use it quite regularly managing our business accounts. A major annoyance that I can't seem to correct is the interference with Quickbooks online. Very often when I enter the simplest information in QB, the extension prompts me to add the saved address info. The data in QB has absolutely nothing to do with addresses, but this happens multiple times an hour. Quite annoying and frustrating. Could you perhaps add the ability to disallow permission for certain websites? That would save me several headaches.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Soops, 8 months agoI love 1Pass but this new update to the extension I don't love. Why can't we edit in the extension pop out anymore? It used to be quick and simple. Now it needs to open a whole new tab and it takes way longer to load. Please revert or optimize. Thank you.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Abby Minot @ duck, 10 months agoIt's not easy for me to learn. It does not seem to work with my banking sites. Perhaps eventually I will understand how it works. After about 6 hours working with it, I'm still baffled.
- Rated 3 out of 5by teodragos, 10 months agoOne of the best in class. Sadly many glitches lowers the overall score. Issues like: example in Yahoo Mail after signing in keeps showing a mini window that has no usable button and displays a wrong information; sometimes the 1password password manager does not save in history the generated passwords; few synchronization issues, emergency kit is not useful if the password field is not inserted automatically; hidden information saved with accounts that are revealed at export; deleted and destroyed items many times reappear; many entries are doubled in the same vault; not easy to differ different vaults, etc...

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 18007540, a year agoWas working fine for the last few years, suddenly it is borked on reddit, mostly. But it is getting slower it seems, and sometimes doesn't suggest password when it just did on the same page before.
I'll give this another week or two, and take my money elsewhere if they can't get it working. Plenty of keychains to hang my keys on, I don't need to be loyal to those who do no reciprocate.Developer response

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 17558813, 2 years agoWhen it works, it works very well. But when I log in to just to have the app generate a password, often times that option isn't offered and I have to jump through hoops to get a useable password. I'm also not thrilled that every time 1Password detects that I'm logging into a site, or about to fill in information on a site, it places a "use 1Password" option that covers up what it is I'm working on.

posted 2 years agoHey there! If you're noticing that 1Password in the Browser is often asking you to "use 1Password" then that typically means it's not unlocked, therefore it's unable to not only save (or offer) useable passwords for the website you're on, but it's not going to be able to help you autofill those logins either.
Try checking within the 1Password browser extension under Settings > General > Integrate with 1Password App to ensure that this setting is enabled so that way the browser extension remains unlocked whenever the desktop app is also unlocked.
Likewise, you can adjust when 1Password will be offered during inline filling by visiting Settings > Autofill > Show autofill menu on field focus

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 15119382, 2 years agoI bought this instead of Lastpass for better security. I would like to be able to open my vault directly from the add-on, like LP. I have a few other niggles but overall, good

posted 2 years agoThanks so much for taking the time to leave us a review. If you'd reach out to us at support@1password.com we'd be happy to help address any concerns you might have about 1Password for Firefox and it's functionality. - Rated 3 out of 5by David, 2 years agoBecause of breach and recommendations on other sites, I switched over with high expectations. The complaint is about "auto fill". When attempting login on my favorite sites I am forced to login to 1Password account.
Having contacted support and getting quick replies on how to deal with this issue, none of the suggestions worked. What did work was setting lock out time to almost three hours before app locked. Thus having to re-log in to 1Password account to fill UN and PW.
To say the least it is a frustration.Developer response
