- Rated 2 out of 5by Filip, 2 days agoI had to stop using this add-on because I am somewhat concerned about the newly requested permissions. I don't see a reason why these should be required.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Piccolo113, 6 months agoIt doesn't work the way it should. There is no way to make it set a tab's volume and have it STAY at that volume. It has the ability to adjust a tab's volume, but the tab has to already be playing sound for it to work. For example: Reels on Facebook are insanely loud every time you go to the next Reel, even if you adjust the volume down to 10% with the add-on. You have to go to the next video, then open the add-on and adjust the volume for each one.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Airplanegobrr, 6 months agoIs google but needs to be checking if the volume is actually what it says, EG if a new video starts playing the volume isn't boosted anymore! EG Netflix goes to the next episode and the volume is back to normal, if this is fixed its a 5/5 addon!

- Rated 2 out of 5by Charbrec27, 7 months agoAddon works as expected, but appears to be injecting it's functional JS into any and all WYSIWYG editors on page. For example, if you have this plugin enabled while editing a page in WordPress, this addon injects it's javascript into the text field. If you save and reload, the script is injected again, over and over.
Once this issue is resolved, I'll update my review. - Rated 2 out of 5by AtharvJ, 8 months ago
- Rated 2 out of 5by gaveitatry, 9 months agoTL;DR - Don't use this addon. Use Equalizer Plus instead.
It increases the volume of videos, but there are three flaws with this addon.
The first flaw is that the interface of the addon popup doesn't look very good.
The second flaw is that I think the video has to be playing for the sound adjustments to take effect. I don't think that the sound adjustments work if the video is momentarily paused. But other sound booster extensions don't have this problem and will let you adjust the volume even if the video is paused.
The third flaw is the most serious. If you adjust the sound using this extension, the fullscreen button in the video (F11 still works) will quit working. 99% of all sound booster addons have this same exact problem. But I found an extension that lets you do both - increase the sound volume AND use the fullscreen button. It's called Equalizer Plus. Someone also suggested another addon that also lets you increase the sound volume AND use the fullscreen button, but I didn't try it and the interface looks bad so I don't want to try it. But there you go. There are at least one or two addons out there that let you use the video's fullscreen button (which I prefer over using the F11 hotkey) after you've made sound adjustments. I highly recommend Equalizer Plus. The interface looks better too.
Actually, there is a fourth flaw. There have been reports that this addon has ads/tracking and malicious code. One guy on GitHub actually took this extension, removed the ads/tracking and made a new version of the addon with the same name, which you can find on GitHub. But I recommend not using either version and using Equalizer Plus instead. - Rated 2 out of 5by Asadehelicoptero, 10 months agoWorks ok but now can't create Twitch clips bcs it breaks the website
- Rated 2 out of 5by SxyMuscleGazelle, a year agoVolume master is a lot better. This one doesn't raise the volume a lot at all and if you have to refresh the page it goes back to a 100 and you have to raise it again.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Dimitri, a year agounfortunately it no longer works: I used it for certain guitar course videos published at low volume on their platform (Breakthrough guitar ) but for about a couple of weeks it has no longer worked, the video becomes totally silent and it is necessary to refresh the page to restore the audio. Previously there were only a few videos every now and then for which the extension caused an error and the video didn't start , but many others were amplified correctly. Can you solve it?
At the moment the only possibility is to do a double pass, wasting time, taking the video link with the video download extension and then viewing the stream in VLC... thus being able to manage amplification. - Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 14198120, a year ago
- Rated 2 out of 5by Kick Assowski, a year agoWhenever the next video plays the sound goes back to low. Really annoying having to increase the level for each video, especially when the videos are really short like in the Udemy Learning course I'm doing

- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 18020170, 2 years agoDoesn't save after wake up from sleep. even if its the same tab that i have increased volume on.
- Rated 2 out of 5by technogod, 2 years agoher sekme için tek tek ayar yapmam gerekiyor. youtube da bazen videoyu ileriye sarınca ayar bozuluyor. i need to make settings for each tab one by one. Sometimes when you fast forward the video on youtube, the setting is broken.
