- Rated 1 out of 5by Foorty, 18 days agoDoesn't seem to work on any site I've tried and would be useful on. It just permanently mutes the tabs, even if i go directly to the media file in a new tab the same happens. Only place where i got it to work on is youtube, except why would i need this for youtube only?
Basically it's completely useless. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 5549291, 25 days agoUsed to be great. Now fully mutes websites upon use, while also not being free on Twitch anymore. Nice while it lasted!
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14350702, 25 days agoThe AudD AddOn used to be great, but now it's buggy to the point of being unusable. Every time you try to analyze music, the browser tab is muted and you have to completely reload to get sound again. Very cool for streams... not!

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13331269, 2 months agoEven after the last update there is still problem in many sites. Now add-on doens't give result or mutes site and a refresh of the site is required/ For example: www.kusc.org, strummerradio.com, jazz.org
- Rated 1 out of 5by IndiePat, 2 months ago"Requires" very suspicious optional permissions it will prompt you for such as accessing data for all websites. It works perfectly fine without the permission so I worry it is selling information.

posted 2 months agoYou can find the extension's source code at https://github.com/AudDMusic/firefox-extension.
On many streaming websites, the audio source is in an iframe/embedded content, which the extension can't access to record audio without that permission.
The only information the extension sends us is information about the current tab when the add-on is opened and the corresponding recorded audio.
We do not sell any user information. - Rated 1 out of 5by Dimibyte, 2 months agoНе работает. На твиче нужен токен, но они дискриминируют живущих в РФ

posted 3 months agoThere should not be any adware. Our add-on is fully open-source, not minified/obfuscated, and you can look at the source code to check for anything shady. We'd be extremely surprised if the extension is related to any ads.- Rated 1 out of 5by TechnoM4tter, 5 months ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by Josxy, 6 months agoDoesn't work on Reddit. It just says "start error: can't find any unpaused media elements." when a video is playing.
Developer response
posted 6 months agoUnfortunately, some websites play audio in isolated elements, which prevents it from being captured by a Firefox extension. On Reddit, the solution would be to mention u/auddbot, which will identify the song. Alternatively, you can use our Chrome extension. - Rated 1 out of 5by derek, 8 months ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18455060, 9 months agoWhen it works right it is actually decent. However for the past 6 months it keeps on giving me an API token error even though I have a token (something I shouldn't need to do as AHA on Chrome doesnt need this or a payment plan). It is currently up to date with 3.1.6 but they clearly did not fix this issue like they said they would in response to a separate review. When I revoke the token and get a new one it starts asking for a payment plan. The only way to use this extension is to use temporary emails to get a new API token.
Developer response
posted 6 months agoHi there,
We apologize for causing confusion. The extension does not require API tokens or signing up to work. The API token field is for people with active API subscription. Please remove an API token from the settings to freely use the extension.
We also sincerely ask that you don’t sign up for multiple API accounts. It is unnecessary (the extension works without a token!), creates a significant financial burden on our side (we have to pay to Auth0 for users), and violates our terms of service.
We will make it clearer in an update. - Rated 1 out of 5by Luneriane, 10 months agoI tried it on multiple songs, but none of them were right. It recognized the same music whereas the songs were different (similar style but still quite different).

posted a year agoOur extension is free and generally doesn't require any paid subscriptions.- Rated 1 out of 5by Tomi, a year agoIt simply hasn't recognized anything for me yet. Seems to be absolutely useless to me.
