Hi Marodeur, and thanks for your rating. It's great to hear that you like the add-on. 😀
I noticed you chose to only give a 4-star rating though.
As such, I'd like to invite you to explain, whether there are missing features or problems you have encountered.
Free to get in touch by opening an issue on https://github.com/rugk/offline-qr-code/issues. Thanks.
You may also edit your rating, if you want, and I hope you continue to have fun using the extension.
Best regards,

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12726339, 6 months agoHave used Awesome Emoji Picker for some time now [1+ years] and throughly enjoy it. There are enough emojis to express nearly ALL of my emotions on specific issues/posts that I don't have to type a word‼️ 😎

- Rated 3 out of 5by cprn, 10 months agoAdd on would be cool if it worked reliably without a mouse but it doesn't. Version 2.0 often doesn't open the search window when invoked by keyboard shortcut (ctrl+shift+period), and when it does, 8 out of 10 times it doesn't focus the input field so you have to press the TAB key 10 times before you can start typing. Focusing the browser's address bar (ctrl+L) and writing "emoji" works every time but it's still 6 key strokes so not that much better.
I tried to debug the focus issue and my best guess is it manages to invoke the `focusElement()` function and correctly focuses the input field but then the focus is moved to something else during the pop up render or creation.
IMHO searching through the browser's address bar would be better if this add-on provided a search engine instead - then every user would be able to configure their own keyword - or if the keyword was something short by default, like a "." (period character).
Other than that, it's an okay add-on. - Rated 5 out of 5by dimaxano, 10 months ago

Developer response
posted 2 years agoHi, thanks a lot for your rating. I see your point of not liking voting prompts.
I can reassure you the likelihood to see such a prompt is very low and e.g. only shown after you have used the extension sometime and not shown again if you have dismissed it once.
As this add-on is open-source, you can also check it's source code at https://github.com/rugk/awesome-emoji-picker/blob/main/src/common/modules/data/Tips.js to see more details, of you are interested.
Also notice there are other helpful tips that may occasionally been shown, but they are really kept to a minimum and many users do e.g. not know that they can help the add-on and support it by writing a review.
I am afraid this has disturbed you and want to apologise. If you have further issues or questions, feel free to ask or suggest a feature by opening an issue on https://github.com/rugk/awesome-emoji-picker/issues/. Thanks.
I hope this explanation helps to explain why it is done the way it is. As an independent add-on author I am always happy about good add-on ratings.
Best regards,
