- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18811500, a month agoGot it to help with my ADHD when trying to read large amounts of text. Instead the extention became yet another distraction I had to deal with. Frequent pop-ups notifying me of things which don't apply to me, like that it now works on iOS, or asking me to sign up for a free-trial or pay them money for something I've not even started to use. It is, for me at least, completely useless.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Bishop, 2 months agoUsed to be good, I will not be paying for the simple feature of changing the text colours. simple colour changes should have remained free as forcing users to pay makes what used to be an accessibility tool inaccessible to most people.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Bekohanfula, a year agov2.16 Was active but had no effect on sites, even after attempting to apply. Looking at features, i don't see significant benefit anyways. Use the built in reader mode and the Stylus extension to get more benefit and flexibility.

- Rated 1 out of 5by scmstr, 3 years ago4/10 recolorizer. why does this require a paid subscription? not good.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Bao, 5 years agoI wish this product was more transparent in terms of privacy. Since it can read what is on my screen maybe it's best to clarify whether it logs what I read. Statement like "We do not gather any personal information when you use our Firefox addon. If you become a subscriber, we will use your email address as a way to manage your account, but do not ever sell or rent your information." wouldn't suffice.

posted 5 years agoHi, as we state in our privacy policy, we do gather any personal information (except your email, which is used for account management purposes). We do log usage information anonymously so we know what sites it is being used on so we can ensure that it works well there, but this information is NEVER linked to a user. I'm sorry you didn't think our privacy policy was explicit enough, but a one-star review is a harsh punishment! We prefer to use straightforward language rather than obscuring the truth with mountains of legalese, but if you prefer the latter there are plenty of companies out there that will happily provide it to you. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14041316, 7 years agoTerrible! Slows some of the pages don't even load properly with this extension, it works on Chrome but not Firefox

posted 7 years agoPlease let us know where you are having problems, so we can make it compatible with more websites. Note that you can put problematic sites onto a blacklist so it won't try to run there. You can report any problems to support@beelinereader.com. - Rated 1 out of 5by Spider, 7 years agoI really love this add-on, but I really DO NOT love the fact that it's a paid subscription service now. It helped a lot with my dyslexia and vision problems, and I found it when it was very new and still in development, and it was a very nasty surprise to suddenly be told I had to pay for it BY THE YEAR.

posted 7 years agoWe're glad to hear that you find BeeLine to be helpful! Please note that your school or employer may be legally required to purchase it for you, based on accessibility laws. We also have some limited free options for students in low-income schools. We wish it could be free forever, but then of course we wouldn't be around very long!
