IMO the addon needs to be rebuilt from the ground up. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18815035, 2 days agoGreat full featured Dark Mode add-on that has been steadily improving over the years. It's not perfect, but it's very close and much better than other add-ons. The only thing better than this add-on is for the webpage itself to have a dedicated dark mode. But for the rest of the internet, this add-on is pretty solid.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Kirkaig, 10 days agoI expected something a bit better for something that has so many users. The auto-detection isn't very good, geeksforgeeks for example has a built in dark mode and instead of the extension being able to detect that it just implements its own dark mode which obviously isn't going to be as good. I get it, the websites that do that are poorly designed in that regard but that's what this extension is supposed to be for, websites with poor colour scheme design. Not to mention I tend to have a lot of tabs open so opening firefox can really make the fans spin for the first few seconds, they could probably only get it to run on active tabs.
And there are a few dark websites that it doesn't detect as dark which obviously messes with the readability and I didn't realise until I noticed some text was practically invisible. - Rated 1 out of 5by Avery, 10 days ago🔴 ALL website's domain name's show up in Dark Reader as about: , which is protected by default, so I'd have to turn the master switch off & on when browsing different websites! 🔴

- Rated 4 out of 5by romiha, 16 days agoI love using Dark Reader - so much easier on the eyes. The only thing I don't like is how it slows down Firefox so much. I wish the creators could come up with a fix for that - I'd give Dark Reader 5 stars then!
