- Rated 4 out of 5by Sopor, 6 years agoThis add-on is great but when i use the "Move to new Window" it shouldn't move it back. Only if i drag the tab it shoudl move it back. Now it is impossible to move a tab to a new window even if i want to do it. It seems that someone already have found a solution by releasing "Disable Tab Detach 2" :)

One star docked because it doesn't work with pinned tabs (as of version 0.0.3), which is kind of a big deal for me personally.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 10078268, 7 years agoWorks well, and works as designed. Removed a star because it breaks on pinned tabs, then doesn't work again without restarting the browser. My work around is to no longer use pinned tabs at all.
Like others have said, would be great to have a way to disable this addon when you do need to detach a tab. I think a disable/enable button for the toolbar would be great. - Rated 4 out of 5by MrTom2000, 7 years agoThank you for this! Would be 5 stars if "Move to a new window" still worked for the occasional cases where I want to explicitly do that.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13118566, 7 years agoThis solves the accidental tear off problem, but also disables the right click "move to new window" option. I can live with that since I so rarely want to move a tab to a new window, but can't give the fifth star for that reason.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Tawn, 7 years agoThank you!!! I seem to tear off tabs accidentally, and this puts them back pronto. Unfortunately, I can no longer move tabs to a new window at all now, without disabling the extension from Add-ons Mgr. I know webextensions are limited, so it's probably not possible to disable only tab tear-off and not other methods of moving tabs to new windows. Could you perhaps provide a toolbar button to enable/disable this extension, that we could e.g. place into the overflow menu for easy access on the occasional time we really do want to move tabs to a new window? (Or some other method to temporarily override the behavior.) That would make it perfect!

posted 7 years agoLate response, but it's possible to differentiate between an attach to a new window vs an existing window, so I'll look at adding it as an option.
