- Rated 4 out of 5by Proxyhedron, 7 days agoThis add-on is excellent, and very helpful for my photosensitivity! However, recent updates to google docs seem to have broken its functionality a little. Any menus (file, edit, font selection, paragraph spacing) display both the text and the menu background in the same shade of white. Since this text can't be highlighted it is fully unreadable and I have to select from the menus by guesswork alone.
I hate to submit a bug report in a review, but there doesn't seem to be any other possible way to do so. - Rated 4 out of 5by Sabi, 9 days agoI love this extension. However, an issue I'm currently having is my right-click menu is almost completely white and unreadable.
This is only on the document itself. Seems to be fine if I'm right-clicking in the tabs menu or the top of the page.
As far as I can tell it may just be an issue in Firefox. Rating will be changed to 5 stars if that gets fixed. - Rated 4 out of 5by skyler_artemis, 12 days agoThe new update does not invert the text in the document options, and it does not allow it to be black anymore. So if you're looking to use anything in the document options like "file, save" you will only be looking at white on white text. It also does not allow the sides to be a different color as the document anymore but that is a minor inconvenience. Overall I still really enjoy this app and am grateful for it. It is also lagging quite heavily for me as well.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Alana, 4 months agoWorks great so far, would it be possible to add something that only inverts the text if it's white? So I can still have colored text
+ it doesn't seem to work on menus (like font selector) - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 17545505, 9 months agoIt's great when it works well, but every time it updates, it reverts back to what seems like the earliest version for some reason. Please fix.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 18782416, a year agobest docs dark mode extension ive tried, one thing though is that i cant use a custom background color on pageless
- Rated 4 out of 5by hendeak123, a year agoFantastic add-on, I love that it gives the option to set a custom background color without having to actually change it or the default for the docs. I just wish it would update to apply the dark mode to the new Document Tabs feature since it is now permanent and clashes with the dark mode aesthetic. Aside from that though, I can never use Docs without it again! Never had any issues with it functionally.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Dorkfishie, 2 years agoIt's nice, although I wish that this applies to the home screen, too.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Korwin, 2 years ago(about version 0.6.3)The text of the link when editing is displayed by light gray on a white background. Mozilla Firefox 128.0b8 (64-bit)

- Rated 4 out of 5by amg0426, 2 years agoLove this add on--it works great and it's easier on the eyes than others I've tried. Only thing it's missing is support for the google docs citation tool... Text is barely visible when you go to input it, but if you don't mind changing to light mode when adding your sources it really isn't a problem!

- Rated 4 out of 5by MacStevins, 2 years agoI was expecting support for other Google Docs Suite, but it only works for the main Google Docs
- Rated 4 out of 5by Cyan, 2 years agoIt's pretty good, but I wish it would make the entirety of Google Docs dark, and not just the documents. If the Google Docs dashboard was also dark, that would be great! Still though, it's really good. My eyes can finally rest easy on the dark background.
Some of my other critiques are, the highlights do not show up at all, even if they are white or yellow. Comments no longer have their highlights.
This add-on is really good though, don't get me wrong. It just has some kinks to iron out. - Rated 4 out of 5by tauriawrites, 2 years ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by Adam, 2 years agoWorks good, however i cant see the color of anything I highlight.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Tango Wert, 3 years agoExtensions works like it supposed to. Only issue i have with it, is that whenever I try to find a word ( cmnd + f ) on the doc, the highlight appears dark, making it hard to find what im looking for. Other than that, this extension really helps out my eyes. Thanks!
