It would be good if the extension is not applied globally to all sites, but on individual domains and remembers the settings. - Rated 4 out of 5by Jake B, 5 years agoGreat concept. I use a tiling window manager, too, so this solves a lot of issues of having to readjust scroll positions all the time.
However, I think it should have a global minimum and maximum zoom percentage that can be set by the user rather than a pixel width. When a window gets too small or too big, some pages become hard to read or insanely zoomed in. Using a percentage instead of absolute pixel values also plays nicely with non-standard DPIs. - Rated 4 out of 5by Richard, 7 years agoJUST what I was looking for. Working more on my Laptop and all the other zoom extensions out there just utilize the browsers native zoom and of course the page overflows so you end up with the side scroll bar but in GMail you don't get one of those so it's really no good there. THIS extension just dynamically zooms the page up just enough to keep things easy on the eyes without having the overflow/side scroll bar thing. BRILLIANT! Thank you so much!
Extra notation to add... the one thing this fabulous add on is missing is a way to have it ignore certain pages... I have a start page that's not very populated so this add on zooms this particular page so much that I could be blind and read it, it's a bit obnoxious to be honest so of course I looked for options and hoped to find one to tell the plugin to ignore my start page... nada..... so while I love this add on I really wish there was a way to tell it to ignore certain pages. Perhaps an update to have this added in?? Thanks! - Rated 4 out of 5by Tweaker, 7 years agoWould have givena 5 but it was mildly annoying that there is no mouse (like Ctrl + Mouse-wheel) to dynamically set the zoom setting "on the fly" However, once I discovered that it was just a matter of clicking on the addon's toolbar icon and select the desired size from the grid of sizes displayed it worked very well. Thank you. I really like that it keeps it's setting once selected.
