I haven't noticed any shady shenanigans with it active so I'm fairly confident in saying that it doesn't pose any security issues overall.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18352858, a year agoThis is an absolutely BRILLIANT tool for downloading YouTube videos onto your computer's files for keeping permanently. For example, download a video onto a u.s.b. pen for watching "big screen" on your t.v. I have tried many other programs and add-ons and this is THE BEST. My I.T. skills are extremely limited and yet I find this incredibly quick and easy. Moreover, a recent "blipp" in YouTube's settings disabled this add-on ..... BUT, only for a short while. The publisher very quickly resolved this and let all the users know. No-one could ask for more! Thoroughly recommended.
