- Rated 4 out of 5by scottobob, 7 years agoWorks well, but I don't like the fact that a large popup blocks the page whenever I double click a word.
Better alternatives for me would be getting the popup from the right-click context menu, or maybe by clicking on a small bubble that appears after double clicking (like with some of the translator add-ons). - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14011697, 7 years ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by LezBoyd, 7 years agoIt does what it says, which is great, and even more great is the fact that I don't have to manually install any dictionaries or do much configuration. The only sore point for me is the need to double click a word to highlight it, which is less practical (IMHO) than a selecting a word with the mouse and getting to see its meaning via the context menu. Some websites, including news outlets, set up scripts to show popups on double click, which is why a context menu option is more desirable in such cases. I hope the developers introduce this option in later versions.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13508504, 7 years agoWould be 5 stars, but it is unusable on dark/black backgrounds, which is mainly what I use it on.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13915540, 7 years agoThis is fairly close to the original Google Dictionary extension on Google Chrome. Is it possible to add options for trigger / hotkeys? i.e. Being able to use Ctrl / Alt / Shift with a click?

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13902312, 7 years agoReally wish I didn't have to click the tiny X to exit the definition. Why not dismiss with a click anywhere besides the definition? Otherwise perfect

However, you should add a style rule for black text color, as the popup currently uses the text color of the website. Difficult to read if the text is gray (eg. Reddit night mode) - Rated 5 out of 5by AndyL964, 7 years agoThank you for making this extension. It works just fine in place of the Google Dictionary extension that I miss so much when I switched over to Firefox.
There are some things that I wish you could improve on, however, such as a fix for when the definition bubble pop-ups stick to one side of the screen (or even show up outside of your device's screen, especially on devices that have smaller screens) as well as a when double clicking on a word in the pop-up bubble that creates a new bubble on the edge of the previous one instead of on top of it.
I also have a feature request that would be awesome if you could include, which is the ability for users to set a hot-key (keyboard combination shortcut) for opening up the dictionary.
But still, even if these don't get added anytime soon, I'd still like to thank you for making this extension! - Rated 5 out of 5by Tom, 7 years agoFound your Reddit post because I too missed the popup dictionary extension. This is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for developing!
