- Rated 1 out of 5by adamhybel, a month agoEnhancer for YouTube adds a wealth of highly useful features and controls to the YouTube experience, significantly improving usability. The functionality offered is genuinely excellent and much appreciated.
However, I'm giving it 1 star due to a critical issue: it is closed-source. This lack of transparency is a major concern. We, the users, cannot verify the code we are running in our browsers. This presents potential security and privacy risks, as there's no way to audit the extension for hidden tracking or malicious behaviour. Trust requires transparency.
I genuinely love what this extension does, and I would instantly change my rating to 5 stars if the developers embraced free and open-source principles.
I strongly urge other users to request this change as well. Open source is vital for user security and trust in browser extensions. Developers, please consider making Enhancer for YouTube open-source. The concept is fantastic, but its closed nature prevents a wholehearted recommendation. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 16482058, a month ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by Raavn, 2 months agoI only use it to set a default resolution for YouTube videos, but it's not working. If I set the resolution to 1080p, it removes 1080p and higher options from the quality settings.

помогает только отключение аддона! - Rated 1 out of 5by a., 2 months agoSadly it doesn't work properly anymore as the developer has stopped updating this extension on Firefox.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Paul, 2 months agoThis was a great add-on until the developer stopped updating it. Now it's interrupting videos for me, and they have decided they won't update to the same version as their other browsers because they don't like the review policy. This is bizarre, since Firefox is the only remaining major browser with a liberal extension API, and most developers are having to burn down their extensions on Chrome instead.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14743303, 2 months agoThis addon no longer functions at all. I don't know if youtube is blocking it or the newest Mercury release broke it.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 16315383, 3 months agoI like this addon and I've been using it for years now, sadly it doesn't work most of the time since last year and the developer has abandoned this addon for Firefox.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15467308, 3 months agoUsed to function beautifully allowing for a bunch of customizability and functionality. Now, it no longer works. From a bunch of other reviews, it seems like this extension is no longer being updated by the dev? What a shame.
