The addon is will NOT allow you to disable/enable your addons from it's own pop-up rendering this extension USELESS.
1 Star:
INSTRUCTIONS TO FIX:
1. Right click the Install Button from the Firefox Addon Store, Save the xpi to your computer.
2. Open the xpi with 7-Zip.
3. Right Click the manifest.json file and edit. Find "default_popup": and highlight ALL code to the right and replace with the everything between the brackets but NOT the brackets ["popup/index.html",] now click Save from the Notepad editor. Find the Folder META-INF and Delete it. Exit 7-Zip and say Yes to repack the xpi with your mods.
4. From Firefox Addon select Install from File and find the xpi you just edited. After install it will say this addon is unsigned.
5. You May have to go to about:config and put this in the search bar: xpinstall.signatures.required double click and change to False.
* Some people complain you can't Pin to the toolbar. That is true because it is in the Address bar as a Green Puzzle Piece.
Any problems with my instructions above, just use any A.i. to clarify.
Thanks to Vlad's 1 star comment about the path being broken lead me to this fix.
It gets 4 stars even though it's broken because it's the ONLY Extension Manager available on Firefox so big thanks to the person who wrote the code. - Rated 4 out of 5by CD, 3 years agoI'm giving this an above average rating because I think it has great potential and I want to draw attention to it. Please encourage the author to work on it more.
It LOOKS awesome, and seems to be exactly what I have been looking for for MONTHS.
So far, however, I have not been able to get it to modify anything. I.E. it can't write any changes you make.
I can't help but notice that in the store at
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/extensions-manager/
it states that it needs two permissions:
"Monitor extension usage and manage themes"
and
"Store unlimited amount of client-side data"
YET IN THE CONFIGURATION FOR THE EXTENSION, IT ONLY LISTS ONE OF THEM:
"Monitor extension usage and manage themes"
SO, obviously, the browser isn't giving it the "Store unlimited amount of client-side data" permission or doesn't know that it requires it...so it can't save anything.
AUTHOR, CARE TO FIX THIS PLEASE? Thank you for writing this, I'm sure it will work great soon!
